He has signed a new PUBLISHING deal with Universal Music Publishing Group.

Oh wow, WTH.... I had to go on the site and see it for myself. What in the world are they doing? Are they just thick or trying to play games with the readers.
Word to Urban Myths: If he had left Capitol it would have said so in the article. Recording and publishing deals are two different contracts.
Although, I think Capitol is leaving him high and dry in the promotion dept. He's a huge moneymaker and they are in a way taking him for granted. Maybe the situation is this...KU is getting a better pub deal, while staying with Capitol to maintain the independence he gets when making his records.

Hello? The title of their blog is "Shut up and sing. We don't want to hear about your wife" and then post a blog quoting everything he says about his wife in recent interviews. That's like cynicalgal/1urbanfan27 saying "I never look for her. She doesn't interest me." while posting on a thread about Nicole Kidman.
I'm tellin ya, they're all a few fries short of a happy meal.
Nicole is boring yet they won't stop digging through the tabs for any little crumb of information they can sink their teeth into. Nicole is dumb yet she's media savvy and managed to get Keith to sign a contract throwing his career away to hold her purse and paint her toenails. Nicole is a terrible mother yet there they sit at their computers for hours on end ignoring their children, husbands, grandchildren, friends, and for what? We get one life with no do-overs. What a waste!
P.S. Thank you for the little sidebar. How do they even type this stuff with a straight face???

SweetThing......1urbanfan27 is at it again. The new Urban Myths blog is up already repeating all the old BS. We know it's you 27. You're the only one posting that Keith ruined "Only You Can Love Me This Way" because he dedicated it to Nicole. That was her special song from DG, in case anybody doesn't know. She's told everybody on the CMT board that 50 times.
You know cynical_gal, when you're actually in love with your wife, every sweet love song whether you wrote it or not is about her. Get it through your thick head. How about you try something the rest of us do...we don't give a damn about the wives. We don't think about Denise, Kimberly, Faith, Tiffany while listening to the music. Why the hell would we???

Oh I know. I'm just talking out loud, venting. I don't post on CMT and I can't say what I really think to cynical even if I wanted to.
I get the feeling that 27 is bothered by Keith's use of certain Stevie Nicks lyrics during his LA concert recently. The album is Bella Donna and the song is Edge of Seventeen. Nicole's daughter, Isabella (or Bella as it were), turns seventeen this year. Some have suggested it was a shout out to her. That makes more sense than 27's explanation that 17 is Keith's lucky number. LOL! Keep them coming, 27.
