Why The Skeptics Aren't Really Skeptics

While some of you may thought you'd be reading a supportive blog about Keith Urban's announcement, instead STS has decided to hit the "skeptics" with a one-two punch and a swift uppercut to the jaw. Keith Urban's announcement can stand on it's own. After admiring the beauty of Nashville's Country Music Hall Of Fame, take a look at the truth behind the haters' lies....

From Dr. Don, someone who made an astute observation about how these women operate

Cynics have a disbelieve in human sincerity or virtue and is motivated entirely by self interest. A cynic is highly contemptuous and refuses other opinions as bunk. They do not employ Critical Thinking to evaluate the validity of claims because they are clouded by personal bias when examining information and thus always "proves" himself correct.

nomorefan: "CMA nominations are coming soon - what perfect timing!"

Try and ask each artist what they are doing and their motivation for doing it between the end of June and the beginning of November. Why is Kenny Chesney penning a song for ESPN? Why isn't that pandering just in time for the CMA's? Every star's actions between that time can be twisted into a nomination ploy if you would like it to be one. The last round of nomination voting is in September, making a successful benefit too late for securing Urban a spot on the final ballot. Because wasn't it YOU nomorefan who said he wouldn't get an EOTY nomination?

Mimosa: "Who cares what the big announcement is, really? There's nothing that KUNKY can do that warrants such shameless famewh0ring."

You do because you're commenting on it. Still following KUNK after desperately trying to keep the Jimmy Wayne thread afloat. Good luck. We see what's important to you on the E! board. It's not Jimmy Wayne and it's definitely not "protecting the children".

imahick: "Perhaps there is a joint venture ... music for kids through the HOF? I don't really know, but I kind of think this is what is coming. On the other hand, it still could be about giant zucchinis."

What reality do you live in? Must be the imahick/notahick double life you're living that's making your thought processes completely out of whack.

nomorefan: "Their juvenile symbols of a star, moon, heart and sun are all over this event!"

Timeless archetypal symbols that are internationally recognizable are juvenile. Are Lucky Charms banned from your house now that Urban continues to use some of the same symbols. Add that to the list with ginger ale and Fiji water.

nomorefan: Besides Vince, who will always be there for anything that supports real country music, where are Mr. Nicole Kidman's big head-lining buddies? You'll pull in bigger money with bigger stars.

Vince Gill isn't good enough? The man has practically earned a saint-like living legend status. KU is putting his name out there in support of a worthy cause and it just can't be good enough. nomorefan you are an adept enough flip-flopper to run for office! What happened to Jason Aldean and Lady Antebellum pulling in more fans to KU's shows. Is Aldean not good enough now, but was for a concert tour? Why not invite the members of the disbanded Wreckers. Didn't one of your pals try to claim one of those girls had more fans than Keith Urban? Which is it nomorefan? Please clear all this up for us! Are Faith Hill and Dierks Bentley big enough for you?

Oh "so" Leery: "I use to love it when KU did his St Jude thing, his own way, in his own style. Now I can't even stomach that. It's like yeah whatever!!"

You sound like nomorefan, ranting with no valid argument. Would you care to tell us when exactly you loved KU working with St. Jude's? You said before you were never a fan of either Keith Urban or Nicole Kidman. So how would you ever have a clue what he did, does, or will do?

Mimosa: "Why not quietly make a donation? Why not quietly make some phone calls to other mega-rich Country stars and solicit funds? Why have some huge announcement, if it is about the HOF? Why all the mystery?"

For a know-it-all you sure are a clueless hypocrite. A few wealthy people give a lump sum of money to a struggling organization. That's nice. That same organization instead works with some country music stars (oh remember when Keith Urban wasn't supposed to be one anymore) to put on an event which raises awareness which further spreads the word for future donations and future visitors. FUTURE INCOME. It's promotion and advertising. It's getting the cause out there. Intro To Successful Fundraising 101.

But Mimosa, tell the truth. You would like Urban to simply donate some money behind the scenes so that you can claim there's no proof he never does anything for any organizations. Because how could little ol' you know what Keith Urban does away from the cameras? Right?

One more question for all "the skeptics"....

Why is it that with all your supposed sources in Nashville, none of you could come up with the reason for the announcement yourselves? Old band members not paying attention to you? Talking to Thomas after drinking too much isn't an option anymore? JC not returning your emails nomorefan? musicgossip is just another audience member at just another gig?

Yeah, we know it hurts. Put some ice on it.

Yeah...where's taralea's "inside camp urban" source when you need them huh? Surely he would have known about this and told her so she could tell all of Urban Myths.

Funny how they all believe the "paving the way" bs for over 3 years but never, ever question stuff like this.

Jimmy Wayne Playing Benefit Concert

Jimmy Wayne will perform Saturday in Boiling Springs, N.C., on behalf of the Cleveland Rutherford Kidney Association. His sister, Patricia Looper, is the organization's executive director and prepared the event. Wayne and Looper grew up in Cleveland County and were raised in numerous foster homes. The charity event will also collect school supplies, clothing and personal care items for the Children's Homes of Cleveland County.

WHAT A FUCKIN FAMEWHORE!!!!!!! Why didn't he just quietly make a donation?? Or call up a few rich buddies and solicit funds? Why the big announcement?? And what's with his sister trying to use him for publicity? They're both shameless FAMEWHORES!

Well nomore, what do you have to say now? Are Brad Paisley & Taylor Swift big enough for you? If you were truly a "skeptic" and not just a cynic, you would admit that you jumped the gun, and you guess it looks like a star-studded night with no fame-whoring involved whatsoever. Just a community, as Keith called it, coming together for a good cause.

Can you swallow your pride & admit you missed this call by a mile? Nah, probably not because then you'd have to admit that you can be WRONG!

But wait, isn't it perfectly obvious what happened here? Keith read nomore's post in the cesspool thread and immediately called Taylor and Brad and begged them to come help out with the benefit. See, I can be a fiction writer too.

Oh somebody's reading online but it's not Urban. Despite the new policy on skeptic posts, I've received comments from the haters. They cannot help themselves.

That's to be expected SMistress. I wouldn't be surprised if the comments you get get worse. The longer the couple thrives the nastier and sicker they'll get. I'm sure they're fuming just because your blog and JB's are still here, and actually relevant. I'd bet Maclen is still talking to herself. Poor Urban Myths got stuck with a real winner.

Anyway, congrats to Keith and everybody involved with the fundraiser. I'd be there in a heartbeat if I could!

So Brad and Taylor have joined the lineup? I certainly hope nomorefan is spreading the news of this blatant famewhoring with CMA noms right around the corner!

You got that right countrycat. I do think MacIdiot is a guy - but regardless s/he is a real winner for sure. I have never, in all my time of observing these trolls, seen someone so full of crap. It must be coming out of every hole this idiot has ....

Declaring you'll continue to post because you hate someone, regardless of getting the facts right, as maclen has done, tells the whole truth about him.

Yep, it must be hard to keep your stories straight when you do nothing but lie.
