Where's The Backlash Skeptics????

Consider this Part II to the Insanity of Desperation blog. It could be the Desperation of Insanity. At this point take your pick and hide the jelly doughnuts.

So the skeptics assured themselves of a Keith Urban backlash. So far the backlash has contained one blog written by one guy who isn't a skeptic. Awww the poor skeptics are caught with their feet in their mouths again. Let's hope they kept them clean.

After the People's Choice Award win there was Keith and Nicole's tribute to Simon Baker at the G'Day LA black tie gala. Cameron Diaz, who went on after to pay tribute to Toni Collette, admitted to the audience they thought they were fucked (her exact words) because they had no speech and no song. It was a hit and the skeptics call Keith a "dancing bear". Bahahaha!

Then there's nomorefan and her on-again off-again love affair with Brad Paisley. No he's not her hot single stud. Paisley is the go-to guy when she wants to shoot for some credibility. She's a crap shot. She allegedly went to a recent show of his and tired to spin Paisley's set by telling everyone he left Urban out of the show. He did it because he's trying to disassociate with him since the downloading statement. nomorefan don't know you karma's a bitch? You said in the same sentence

"After seeing Brad Paisley last night, it really is no wonder why he left Mr. Nicole Kidman out of his show now. He opened with an acoustic performance of "Start A Band",

So which is it nomorefan? You just said he left him out, but by including the song he's already included him. He can't do the whole thing without Keith. There's no climax with the dueling guitars. We doubt he'll try it with one of his band members but opening the show with it says alot about how highly he thinks of the man and the song. Remember, Keith got Brad those awards just as much as Brad helped Keith. You want to forget that we know but it's there right in front of your face. In fact Keith got praise and was thought by many to outshine Brad on the song. Brad turned the song down at first listen. The missing ingredient....Keith Urban. We don't need to be at the show you attended. We know you're lying about it all to suit your agenda. Chanel No. 5? It rhymes stupid!

Oh and one more thing. We don't have the exact quote or footage of CMT's Insider, but fans have reported that Paisley said he basically agrees with Keith on downloading and artists are there to make the music. Now we know you won't be sharing this info on the KUNK threads but since you used to report every week on whether or not Keith was on Insider we'd thought you'd like to be updated on the situation.

So we come back to the question where is the backlash skeptics? Well it's on you to deliver it! You've tried with Keith and Nicole and failed. We wonder why you don't try it on other celebrities...say ones you claim are wonderful artistes. Like Sandra Bullock and Maryl Streep. Readers you know, whenever Nicole Kidman has a movie coming out, out comes the praise for Bullock and Streep, ladies who in the opinion of the skeptics are 1,000 times more classy and refined than Kidman. Well let's take a look skeptics.

Why not bash Sandra Bullock for allowing herself to be felt up by Jimmy Fallon for a gag at the MTV Movie Awards a few years ago?

How about Meryl Streep for not being a stay-at-home mom, taking her impressionable innocent children to Hollyweird industry events, and allowing two of her children to pursue acting?

How about Sandra Bullock for marrying a man with a past who used to be married to porn star?

How about taking them both to task for being sexually vulgar and corrupting our youth when both of them shared a kiss onstage at the Critic's Choice awards?

What about Sandra's character in All About Steve where she allows a blind date to cup her boobs in the back of a van pre almost-quickie sex after meeting him for 5 seconds.

Oh we know! You are waiting for the big kill by bashing Meryl for allowing Alec Baldwin to cup her crotch in It's Complicated and call it "home, sweet home".

Are we close skeptics? No we know it'll be more of the same from you. Dead silence.

The only ones who have actually felt any backlash are the skeptics themselves. middlesea has defected...a blog written on Urban Myths that someone is done...someone so embarrassed they won't leave their name. From her letter, "anonymous" painted a portrait of Keith Urban inside her head when he was single, or appeared single...painted another version of him after he met his future wife.
Everything about her note says obsession. "I put everything into you and now that you aren't what I want anymore see ya on the downside, because you have to come with me. It won't be fair unless you are punished the same way you took away my fantasy in 2005. I found you." As if Keith was a possession who left his owner. At the end it will be nomorefan and Mimosa fighting to the death over who gets on Keith's bus first once he "wakes up and leaves his wife". Good luck you two.

Just one last little thing concerning the illegal downloading comment before we go.....

Mimosa: Keefus has the kind of blindly-following fans who take him literally, so he can expect lots of freebie downloading in Monkeyville.

Hateful doofus would you like to eat your words? Sales of Defying Gravity since the People's Choice win have only gone up, putting the album back into the top 10 on Billboard. And Urban's impeccable performance on Ellen put Defying Gravity at #1 on the iTunes Country Album chart the same day!

BAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

Thanks Ellen! We know you're a fan! Like you said, you're both married to Australian women and both country singers! Haha!

SM,Keith isn't the only artist who feels the way he does about downloading:

Shakira thinks it's cool and has no problem with her fans downloading her music.

In a recent interview, she explained that she felt "closer" to the "fans and the people who appreciate the music" when her music is downloaded, illegal or otherwise. She goes on to say:

"It's the democratisation of music in a way. And music is a gift. That's what it should be, a gift."

***

Kid Rock went on to explain that he doesn’t mind people downloading his albums illegally as long as they buy tickets to his concerts. “I was telling kids: download it illegally, I don’t care. I want you to hear my music so I can play live.

*****

Songwriter Norah Jones agreed she was less concerned about illegal downloads than others.

"If people hear it I'm happy. I think its great that young people who don't have a lot of money can listen to music and be exposed to new things,"

*****

Joss Stone, who won a Grammy last year, loves music, but hates the the music industry. In a recent interview she said that – unlike herself – most artists are brainwashed by the industry, and she encouraged people to share her music.

After the show a reporter asked her what she thinks of piracy, and people who download her songs off the Internet. Her response baffled the reporter, as she simply told him: “I think it’s great…” There was an awkward silence for a few seconds, the reporter probably expected to hear something else from her. “Great?,” he said.

“Yeah, I love it. I think it’s brilliant and I’ll tell you why,” Stone continued. “Music should be shared. [...] The only part about music that I dislike is the business that is attached to it. Now, if music is free, then there is no business, there is just music. So, I like it, I think that we should share.”

“It’s ok, if one person buys it, it’s totally cool, burn it up, share it with your friends, I don’t care. I don’t care how you hear it as long as you hear it. As long as you come to my show, and have a great time listening to the live show it’s totally cool. I don’t mind. I’m happy that they hear it.”

Mimosa's got her pretend Jimmy Wayne fan thread. Nomorefan can have her pretend Brad fan thread. A bud sent me an email and told me how little they posted about Jimmy's new album. A new Keith album that they say they won't buy and won't listen to will get 20 pages. Jimmy Wayne has a new album and it's 5 posts!

nomore has to be thrilled that Brad said he agreed with Keith. Darn backlash, where is it?

LMAO!
