Two Eagles Keith Urban Dixie Chicks Concerts Canceled

Two concerts with Keith Urban and The Dixie Chicks have been canceled. Those dates are June 14 (Philadelphia - Citzens Bank Park) and June 15 (Hershey, PA - Hershey Stadium). No word has been given on why the cancellations. Unfortunately the Hershey show was scheduled in place of the Washington DC area show that was previously canceled.


Possible reasons for the cancellations?

Word is the price point for tickets closer to the field are too high. That will be something the headlinging act will need to work out if in fact that's the reason for the cancellations. The core older fanbase of The Eagles may not want to pay a high price for an outdoor show at such a large impersonal venue. With a small number of shows, higher ticket prices may not work for the tour.

Also, bass player and vocalist for the Eagles, Timothy B Schmit, did have surgery recently which came about after missing several shows. We wish him a quick recovery and hope there will be future dates for the three acts in the works.

Mimosa: I've seen the Eagles several times, and they are, to me, the greatest band America ever produced. They are incomparable.

Joe is colorful, but he's a brilliant musician, as are all the Eagles, and the Chicks too. This is a very gifted bunch of people and Keith better be on top of his game. He better show up for some rehearsals this time.



This talk is just as brilliant as Mimosa's explanation that everyone in Hollywood but Nicole Kidman is a wonderful creative personality.

So Mimosa tell us why some of the Eagles aren't hopeless addicts no better than street bums? Why aren't they old fogies trying to act younger than they are, having the nerve to tour stadiums? Why aren't they liars and cheaters? You're such a fan surely you've read Don Felder's "Heaven and Hell: My Life in the Eagles", but we wouldn't be shocked if you don't even know who he is.

Why aren't The Dixie Chicks un-American, ungrateful embarrassments? Why isn't Martie another skank who the skeptics say slept with Keith Urban? Or is she an innocent victim of his manipulation? Why aren't they bad mothers for working when they don't have to? Why aren't they only interested in making money off the backs of "real" working Americans since they aren't making a new Chicks record after the tour? Why aren't the Maguire sisters using Natalie Maines to promote their new side project she has no part of?


If the The Eagles are so fantastic in your eyes why aren't you trashing them for coming up with such a ridiculous idea as personally selecting Keith Urban to go on tour with them?


The answer is the same to every single question....you are a lying, hateful, hypocritical, witch!

The Real Story Behind Keith Urban & The 2010 ACM Awards

If you're wondering why CBS kept teasing Keith Urban's performance during the ACM Awards on Sunday night and then Urban kept not appearing on the stage, there's a good reason. Country Aircheck reports that Keith's guitar amp was acting up, which pushed his performance slot time back a couple of times. CBS kept stalling for Urban's sake, to the point of even running extra promos to fill time. Because of this, labelmate Darius Rucker's performance time almost got cut. Fortunately, producers were able to compensate in several other places so that Rucker could get his full allotted singing time.

The June 15 concert at Nationals Park in Washington DC has been canceled.
