Really Kenny?

According to the latest country news reports, the following incident occurred at a recent Kenny Chesney Foxborough concert:

"Susan Mazar said the singer grabbed it while she was at this weekend's concert in Foxborough.

Mazar said she was in the front row taking pictures, when the singer grabbed the camera from her.

Mazar said she and other fans were stunned when Chesney took the camera.

"(Chesney) was like a person in front of me and he reached down, grabs the camera, shuts it, goes down the walkway and throws it on the stage," Mazar said.

Mazar said she did get the camera back, but the memory card, loaded with pictures of her family vacation, was missing."


Mazar has been receiving flack because fans quick to jump the gun think that she got what she deserved. Well skeptics aren't the only ones getting it wrong these days. Kenny Chesney instituted a "no filming" policy at his shows, not a "no camera" policy.

In fact, directly from a fanclub employee: "Cameras will be allowed at the shows for STILL photos only!"

While we at STS don't agree with the ban from an enforcement perspective, Kenny has a right to institute it. Mazar although, if her version of the story is truthful, deserves an apology from Chesney. Chesney overreacted and is the very example of why this plan is not smart or fool-prof. No matter, we pose this question....Will the skeptics address this and chastise Kenny for it? Not likely. Kenny Chesney is a "real person" according to the haters, even though he has a home on an island and a boat. He is not a diva, but Keith Urban hypothetically taking the same measures....that's a horse of a different color! We know their history of criticizing Keith for instructing security to be more lax, while at the same time they would be the first ones cursing out security as audience members. We also know their history of disallowing Keith the right to show any hint of negative emotion when things go wrong onstage. They've ignored the latest concert date with tech difficulties. Perhaps because some of the band members were also visibly irritated? That, even with straight faces by Mimosa and nomorefan, cannot be put on Nicole's shoulders. Which is why they've attempted to blame her for the Maton's damage. The guitar couldn't ever have been compromised in transit and heavy use. We won't even go into the recent reality tv show discussion that proved how easily the skeptics can be mislead, manipulated, and spoon-fed "the right" information. Lainey, a self-appointed gossip guru, didn't know any more than the skeptics or maclen, which was a big fat goose egg.

Expect the hater losing streak to continue, 4 years and counting.
