Who Is Nomorefan / IHateHer / LynchHer / NKsKids4Sale From E Online Kidding?

nomorefan: I'm going off topic here for a moment, and I just want to remind you all that we should consider ourselves lucky to be country music fans and really have an appreciation for the country music genre. I was given free excellent tickets to the Lady Gaga concert last night - $180 BTW! You couldn't beat the seats, but give me country music any day. There were little kids there - like around 8 years old - I had my 14 year-old son with because he loves her music. Her opening act - who I will not give recognition to - was disgusting. As an audience member, I don't appreciate being called a biotch, sl#t and wh@re during the show. I also don't appreciate the F word being sung every other word in a song, and could you maybe have more than one sentence in a song? They acknowledged that there were parents in the audience with kids, but were exposing the kids to real rock-n-roll? Really? Seriously? Give me Springsteen, Seger, Bon Jovi, etc., any day over this "rock-n-roll". I also didn't appreciate being told that they wish the audience - yes the ENTIRE audience - gets laid after show.

I have taken my son to many country music concerts and have never regretted it because they were wholesome family shows. The things he saw, the things he heard should never be heard by him or 8 year-olds during a concert. There should be some type of age requirement with this tour.

Gaga's performance was like a broadway musical - lots of dancers, but if I paid $180 to see her perform, I would sure want her to be singing instead of listening to a CD. She even admitted during her piano session that those were the only songs she sang live in the concert.

After seeing the show, I just want everyone to have a greater appreciation of what country music has to offer compared to other genres/artists.

PUH-LEAZE!

What everyone needs to be reminded of is the disgusting things you've posted and your alternate user names on other websites.

Here's just a small sample of nomorefan's true character

Inept Keith Urban Myths Skeptic
Maclen Trying To Deceive Again!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

maclen through her lies wants to pretend that she isn't a skeptic and isn't an ex fan. We're not buying it.

Supposedly, just today, she found out Keith Urban has planned to release his new album this year.

Supposedly, maclen isn't familiar with how Keith Urban has recorded albums in the past or aware of Capitol Nashville's history.

Supposedly, maclen's post today and Urban Myths is 100% completely honest.

maclen: ...so on the topic of orb's diminishing cd sales... seems a simian over at monkeyland is making some noise that capnash IS looking to release the orb's next cd THIS YEAR!

http://www.keithurban.net/forum/index.php?topic=39440.45

"Capitol has targeted November for the release of a new Keith Urban album.
One label insider suggests the project will take a stripped-down approach,
though Capitol/EMI Nashville president/CEO Mike Dungan says he’s learned
to wait until Urban is done with an album to evaluate it stylistically."

Now, first, take notice of the bolded sentence...

One label insider suggests the project will take a stripped-down approach

...yes..."stripped-down approach" to the "project"...which is code for..."Were in hell NOT going to pay alot of money anymore on this mediocre selling hick!" So, this is what I've been PRAYING for! Yes, capnash...rush release the cd...stripe down the budget...orb's "nickel and diming" his time with just a few days here, a few there recording of this thing will absolutely ensure a VERY mediocre cd! No doubt the orb will be experiencing a further "stripping down" on the popularity meter...and the cd failure meter!

BAHAHAHAHAHA! Here's the complete blurb with the real quote

Capitol has targeted November for the release of a new Keith Urban album. One label insider suggests the project will take a stripped-down approach, though Capitol/EMI Nashville president/CEO Mike Dungan says he’s learned to wait until Urban is done with an album to evaluate it stylistically. “He will find a groove and find a spot where everything is just right where it needs to be, and then the rest of it is magic,” Dungan says. “But it’s rarely what he [originally] says it’s going to be.”

Pulse Music

Things like this should always be taken with a grain of salt, the "insider" report. But one thing the fans know, and so does maclen, that Capitol doesn't hear the record until its finished. Why? Well that's the way it's been. When Keith Urban joined Capitol the label was in a state of transition. During that time they left Keith to get the job done and for the company to sort out their own issues. After the success of the first album they let things stand that Keith was an artist that didn't need to be micro-managed when it came to making his music.

As for the "failed" album maclen keeps touting, Defying Gravity, no one who is sane would call a #1 Billboard charted album with 5 hit singles in the American and Canadian country markets, the biggest markets in the world, as a failure. Every single #1 in Canada, every single in the USA at least Top 3, a top seller in Australia without breaking the country market, a collection by one of Capitol Nashville's most valued artists. Such a loser, that DG album!

We know the only reason inept skeptic maclen is praying that Keith Urban does come out with a cd this year, as we reported weeks before maclen pretended to discover this news, is so that she has something new to lie about because her current material is OLD.

Stay tuned for the true state of the skeptics in the sidebar. The truth isn't pretty as you'll soon see from the skeptics' own mouths!

By the way skeptics, what happened to the lies you started that Nicole Kidman was funding his cd's and holding a stake in his songwriting! LMAO!

Another Aussie Actor Joins Nicole Kidman In Trespass; Aussie Star Troy Cassar-Daley Talks Keith Urban

Huge thanks to our Aussie friend timtam and an anonymous reader for these stories! It just goes to show the skeptics are full of it when they say that Australia and the Urbans' Australian contemporaries don't want anything to do with them!

Actors decide to 'Trespass'

Thesps join Kidman, Cage for Nu Image actioner
By DAVE MCNARY

Ben Mendelsohn ("Animal Kingdom"), Dash Mihok and Liana Liberato ("Trust") are rounding out the "Trespass" cast opposite Nicole Kidman and Nicolas Cage in Nu Image/Millennium Films' action-adventure.

Shooting starts Monday in Louisiana with Joel Schumacher directing and a nine-week shoot planned. Cam Gigandet and Jordana Spiro also star.

Reports earlier this month indicated that Cage had left "Trespass" but he subsequently re-committed to the production. He and Kidman signed on to "Trespass" to portray a married couple.

Story, written by Karl Gajdusek and Eli Richbourg, centers on a husband and wife taken hostage by four brutal perpetrators seeking easy cash. Complications ensue amid the unexpected discovery of betrayal and deception.

""Trespass" marks the fourth collaboration between Cage and Nu Image/Millennium Films following the recently wrapped 3D adventure "Drive Angry," "The Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans" and "The Wicker Man."

"Trespass" will be produced by Irwin Winkler and David Winkler of Winkler Films and Rene Besson. Avi Lerner executive produces for Nu Image/Millennium Films, along with Danny Dimbort, Trevor Short, Boaz Davidson and John Thompson, and Jill Cutler exec produces for Winkler Films.

timtam let us know that Ben Mendelsohn has just come off a very popular Showtime Australia drama called Tangle and that he is a very sought-after actor on Australian television. This isn't the first time he's worked on a film with Nicole Kidman. Readers may recognize him as "Captain Dutton" from Baz Luhrmann's Australia.

DAVE'S DIARY - 7 MAY 2009 - TROY CASSAR- DALEY INTERVIEW

KEITH URBAN

"From the day we met I have to say/ my life's been blessed/ and that old sky above ain't got nothing on/ this big, big love." - Big, Big Love - Troy Cassar-Daley.

The singer credits fellow pre-teen Tamworth busker and latter day expatriate Australasian superstar Keith Urban for the disc's entrée single and video.

"I was having real trouble writing last year," Troy recalled.

"I ended up catching up with Keith on a plane, going over to Phoenix, Arizona, to do his show.

He said to me 'how's the writing going?'

I said "to tell you the truth, it's not going too well. I'm having a bit of a writer's block.'

He said 'how are you approaching it?'

I said 'on guitar.'
"He said 'try a drum machine - in your Mac computer you'll have garage band.'

"I often go to it when I need energy in a song. I started that when I got home. I started on electric guitar that I normally don't write on a lot. I got it going and was having a ball.

Three or four songs into this project I thought I've broken the drought - it's finally flowing again."

Cassar-Daley confessed that both the Cassar-Daley and Urban spouses and offspring inspired the song.

Troy wed fellow singer and 4KQ breakfast DJ Laurel Edwards many moons ago and they have two sons.

Urban, 41, took the plunge much later in life with a Sydney born thespian named Nicole.

"When Keith and Nicole's baby was born we texted him and said 'congratulations, it must be a huge thrill for you being a dad the first time.'

His reply - beautiful result, she's absolutely gorgeous. We're all tired. Big love to the family - Keith.'

"I was in the middle of this track. I was working out real rocking drum feel. I thought it doesn't get much bigger than that. I might head for that as the hook line and go for that direction. I worked the demo up in a couple of days, sent it to Keith and he loved it.

He really thought I nailed what he was talking about. It kicked a door in for me - opened up another avenue. You can write this. So far he hasn't asked for a share of the royalties."

PATERNAL ADVICE

Instead the singer gave the new father free paternal advice.

"He asked me a lot about the balance of family and career," Troy revealed.

"At any level it's hard to balance. I said to him 'you probably already know that but what it comes down to is priorities. As long they're the No 1 priority everything else will fall into line behind that and will happen in its own way. You tell the record company when you want to tour. You keep your time off in big blocks for Nicole and you like Laurel and I do. He found it refreshing to hear it coming from an Australian voice - someone he's known for more than 20 years."

Urban, once signed to fellow expatriate Australasian Barry and Jewel Coburn's publishing company Ten, Ten, didn't offer Troy advice on landing songs in movies and TV shows.

"No, we mainly talked about guitars and about old memories we had back in Tamworth," Cassar-Daley recalled.

"We used to go and busk outside Cheaper Music in Tamworth as 12 year-olds. We continued doing that over the years, even after we had our record deals. He would ring up and say we're raising money for the kids ward at the hospital - can you come over and do a few songs at the front of the music store. I would go to his gigs and he would come to mine - a cross-pollination. The first time I met Jerry Flowers (Urban's U.S. bassist from his era with embryonic trio The Ranch) they were going to smash a few guitars on stage in Tamworth. But Keith missed the stage and cut Jerry's hand in the middle of show. It was a big moment when they were doing a Garth Brooks piss-take. I don't think he would have as many Australian friends come through that would have as much history."

The singer confessed that he hadn't read the controversial Urban biography.

"I'm waiting for Laurel to finish it," he confessed.

"I'm looking forward to having a read because a lot of people and events I would have been part of. It's nice to see someone's take on Keith but I would much prefer to hear one from Keith. It would be nice to hear it from the horse's mouth. I don't think I would be interested in learning someone else's take on personal battles he has had - everybody already knows about that.'

New Video - Nicole Kidman & Keith Urban In Hong Kong - Skeptic Myths Debunked

Once again video proves that skeptics like maclen, MADISON, Oh So " Loony" and erniesmom from Urban Myths and The E! Online Awful Truth are liars.

MADISON: It looks to me, like he didn't have such a good time. No one seems to be paying attention to him. They are all talking amongst themselves and it is like Keith is the background music. Then the pictures of Baldy makes her look like a fool that she is. Look at the people behind her. They look like they are at a funeral.

erniesmom: Why is it that she seems to be Enjoying the music and having a good time when shes NOT in NASH? Every time I'[ve seen her at a Country Mucis Show(Awards usually) she is Yawning and Bored

Jakra777 / Oh " so" Leery / I'm Still Leery: never saw a couple that put out such trash. Its really amateurish maybe thats why there are no parts for her she just cant act!

maclen: And yes blue sky, no doubt a part of that $10 mil spent on a simple real estate investment was that $1 mil they got for that "special" UN/Omega trip where they supposedly raised just over a $100k for charity...between the "fraken" both of them...while they ended up getting paid over $1 mil to do it!

maclen won't tell you the truth and that is the UNIFEM gala fundraiser was simply the capper to the trip for Nicole and Keith. Nicole spent the day promoting Omega (she is an ambassador for them after all) going to a store opening which also coincided with the launch of the limited edition Omega Constellation Co-Axial Chronometer. Whatever she was paid, and we have no idea where you are getting your figures maclen, is for her contract with Omega...a contract that other celebrities like George Clooney have. Omega and UNIFEM found a partnership together and does anyone really think Nicole Kidman or Keith Urban was paid for the charity gala? NO! In fact, if you watch the video in its entirety you'll see that the event was fully endorsed by UNIFEM and in attendance was Joan Libby-Hawk, UNIFEM's public affairs chief. You'll also see the signed box of the watch Nicole was given by Omega, which she auctioned off for UNIFEM.

The skeptics continue to lie. They won't tell you Nicole has been involved with the UN, specifically UNICEF and UNICEF Australia since 1994.

They won't tell you Nicole's acceptance into UNIFEM was conditional upon a meeting by the executive director Noeleen Heyzer

"She's a great listener and an extraordinary person."
~Heyzer, Redbook Magazine, September 2006

Last Night' to open Rome Film Fest
Nicole Kidman starrer 'Rabbit Hole' to screen in competition
By Eric J. Lyman

Aug 26, 2010

ROME -- The international premiere of Massy Tadjedin's romantic drama "Last Night" will be the opening film at the Fifth edition of the International Rome Film Festival, organizers said Thursday. The film will screen in competition.

The festival also added that "Rabbit Hole," a drama from John Cameron Mitchell, which marks Nicole Kidman's debut as a producer, will screen in the Italian capital in competition.

The twin announcements are the first official glimpses at the in competition lineup for the Oct. 28-Nov. 5 event, which takes place at Rome's Auditorium Parco della Musica.

The festival called "Last Night" a "romantic tale of sexual attraction, betrayal and jealousy." The film stars Keira Knightley, Sam Worthington, and Eva Mendes in the main roles.

In addition to producing "Rabbit Hole," Kidman also stars in the film about a family's loss of a child, along with Dianne Wiest, Sandra Oh, and Aaron Eckhart.

Keith Urban & Nicole Kidman Updates 08/26/10

Urban development: Keith plays CMA Music Festival

By Jay Bobbin

Keith Urban is married to an Oscar-winning actress, but he knows he has another important relationship to maintain: the one with his fans.

Still at the forefront of country music stars, Nicole Kidman's spouse gets a big opportunity to please his followers each June, when artists and listeners converge on Nashville for a Country Music Association-sponsored event. The four-day gathering is captured for a television special, and ABC airs this year's edition of "CMA Music Festival: Country's Night to Rock" Wednesday, Sept. 1.

A preview disc indicated the three-hour show offers a generous dose of the New Zealand-born and Australia-raised Urban, whose virtual greatest-hits set includes "Kiss a Girl" and "Days Go By." Among the many other talents showcased: Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, Tim McGraw, Rascal Flatts, Lady Antebellum, Martina McBride, Alan Jackson, Reba McEntire, Trace Adkins, and engaged couple Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton.

Though he's had a busy summer concert schedule, as have so many of his country music peers, Urban recognizes that playing the CMA Music Festival is still a prime gig.

Q: Did you enjoy performing at this year's festival as much as it appears?

A: Yeah, I really did. There's something about that crowd, and probably that little bit of extra mojo about performing in that stadium -- not long after it was under water (from the flooding in Nashville) -- was a euphoric feeling as well.

Q: Have you intentionally stocked your catalog with tunes that practically invite the audience to sing along?

A: I hoped that one day, I would have a set list where people know the majority of the songs. It's a blast to look out there and see people singing along with every song; it's incredible. I'm always happy to let my voice take a break and let the audience carry it!

Q: How have you personally experienced the growth of the festival, which used to be known as Fan Fair, over the years?

A: It's astounding to see how big it's gotten, particularly this year. I couldn't see an empty seat anywhere. It's such a win-win; what a magnificent thing that this festival is based on the genre and not on the specific artists. So many people come to celebrate their love of country music, and within three or four days, you've seen everybody.

Q: You made a point of saying in the show, "Nashville is alive and well and open for business." How are you finding it there now?

A: Certainly, it takes a little while, and it's been difficult with Opryland out of commission. I think people know we're back up and running, though, and Tennessee isn't called the Volunteer State for nothing. Everybody pulled together, and here we are.

Q: Is being the father of Sunday, your two-year-old daughter with Nicole, having an impact on your music?

A: Yeah, for sure. I'm not out there working all the time, and from being home, it's important to have something to take out onstage. I think everything benefits from it. I think the performances have more purpose for me. If we're going to go out and connect with everybody, what are we communicating? I have enormous gratitude for having found somebody and found my center ... then to be able to plug into that through my music, if I can.

Nicole Kidman Lies About Alpacas,
Leipers Fork Garden, And Baptism?
More Skeptic Myths Debunked

The alpacas have come home to roost readers! Reality keeps biting the E! Online and Urban Myths skeptics in the ass over and over again! You can trust Skewering The Skeptics will be here to document it all. So let's get started.

The skeptics have decided that everything Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban say about their personal life is a lie. Even if there's photographs, like the Urban and Kidman clans at an alpaca farm, it's all staged for publicity. They especially like to say Nicole is lying about the garden they have on their property in Tennessee.

Any of these old quotes look familiar?

nomorefan: Her fables of gardening in Nashville, the alpacas she purchased for someone else to take care of at the ranch she has been to once, and yearning to milk a goat.

Mimosa: Yeah...can't you just see Granny Baby BBQ Girl cultivating a roof top garden in her overalls and straw hat..and her scarves.....being all organic and everything.
She might even put a few goats on the elevator so she can make that cheese.

Mimosa: The idea of HagMaw having a vegetable garden in TN while she's filming in NY is really hilarious.

hoosierlady: I think this is PR for victim NK, other sites are recycling the alpaca story and the garden story, it is pretty late in the year to be planting a garden

maclen: Well, I voted for kidman winning first prize at the county fair for her zucchini lips...simply because it was the most hilarious choice.

Hilarious you say? Well we have one more person telling it like it really is. If you recall Laurel Edwards, an Australian DJ, is living temporarily in Nashville while her husband, and long-time friend of Keith's, Troy Cassar-Daley works on his music. She's been giving her listeners back home updates on what it's like living in America. Well this latest clip is one more nail in the skeptics' coffin!

Click HERE to listen to what she has to say about getting to know Nicole. Scroll down to the August 24th entry.

Now remember the "fake" trip to Italy the Urbans took?

Oh " so" Leery: We get pics of her crossing the street until we're ready to barf and no pics of four days in Italy??? Boy, now is that not a quandary??

Oh yes Father well it's true she wasn't born in Nash she was born in where ever. Oh no Father we are not really the parents we're the pretend parents. But does that really mean anything. Can't we just lie to everyone. I'm sure the Church wouldn't mind!! We're so wonderful!! You can just fill out the Baptismal Certificate as follows: Thank you so much!! ((giggles)))

innervoice: And I think it's reprehensible that she mentions the baptism of her daughter in Italy to garner attention for NINE. BTW, I don't believe that tale for a second.

Mimosa: It's also reprehensible that Itty Bitty allows her to do it. They both make me sick.

A440: And I remain suspicious of those reports of Sunday's Italian baptism - the one that occurred sans family while KUNK were on vacation.

nomorefan: nomorefan: More lies from Nine Lips. Remember the quick, little get-away - remember the one where Suro got baptized, and he literally got off the airport and onto the stage for his show because his plane arrived late?

Despite the fact there were tweets and at least one fan photo from Sienna, the skeptics kept denying everything. That trip is already over a year ago, but like we say here at STS...the truth always comes out.

Huge thanks to the writer of the article below. She uploaded her piece that ran recently in the Giornale di Reggio about some of Northern Italy's finest food and food service.

Click on thumbnails for full-size image

Notice anything about Page 2? Yes that's Nicole Kidman in two of the photos. Unfortunately the text, even enlarged, is very difficult to read. However that did not deter us at STS. Scanning the article we found the confirmation that the Urbans did in fact have a baptism (batessimo).

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

But there's more! The text in the photos above may be excruciatingly small. But a little detective work online gave us the website for chef Paola and sommelier Villiam, and their restaurant Ristorante alla Pieve. Yes, they are the same staff featured in the Reggio article.

From a January 2010 interview in UK Magazine SHE

Before the country crooner kicked off his tour last year, the trio — along with a few close friends — rented a villa in Italy for two weeks for a bit of rest and relaxation! “We ate, played music, swam, drove to nearby cities,” she recalls.

Oh and before nomorefan starts ranting and raving, the dates already confirm that Keith joined Nicole and their daughter in Italy, and then they left together with Keith bound for his Boston show.

All this debunking makes yours truly nostalgic. Want to take a peek at another blog where we ripped the skeptics to shreds?

Details On Nicole Kidman's Rabbit Hole At The Toronto International Film Festival

RABBIT HOLE

PREMIERES SEPTEMBER 13, 2010

OFFICIAL DESCRIPTION

In Shortbus and Hedwig and the Angry Inch, director John Cameron Mitchell pushed sexual limits, broke genre boundaries and did both with an all-embracing generosity. He’s made some of the sweetest naughty movies of our time. Rabbit Hole marks a major progression. Gone is the euphoric underground sensibility, replaced by more broadly accessible storytelling and impressive formal control. Taking its place among the highest quality contemporary American drama, Rabbit Hole starts from a superb script interpreted by first-rate actors doing some of their best work.
Nicole Kidman and Aaron Eckhart play Becca and Howie Corbett, a couple trying to mourn, but unsure how to do it. They have retreated into politeness and private rituals, appearing more and more isolated in their upper middle-class home, which looks especially barren now that their young son is gone after a hit-and-run tragedy.
Unable to mourn but unready to re-enter daily life, Becca rebuffs her family, snapping at her more reckless sister and humiliating her mother (Dianne Wiest) every chance she gets. She even turns her sharp tongue on the members of the support group which she and her husband attend. As Howie makes genuine efforts to connect – including an overly earnest attempt with another mourning parent, played by Sandra Oh – Becca begins to pursue a course even she doesn’t understand. She starts to reach out to the boy who killed her son, a teenaged driver whose life was irrevocably changed by the incident. Their relationship, full of curiosity, suppressed rage and a surprising mutual recognition, forms the fascinating counterpoint to the discordant notes of a marriage in crisis.
Mitchell shapes this material with maturity and grace. Dianne Wiest gives a nuanced performance to match the best of her work. Eckhart is superb as a husband tortured by both the death of his son and the withering of his marriage. Kidman is remarkable. We expect disciplined, precise work from her, but there is new range here, and a willingness to show frayed emotions that makes this one of the finest performances of the year.

E! Online Skeptic Mimosa: A Liar Exposed

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

If there's anyone left that thinks E! online skeptic Mimosa has any credibility or tells the truth in any of her posts, think again. Throughout the years of lies she's spread, Mimosa says she was a Keith Urban fan 10 years ago when she wasn't, says she knows people in Nashville that know something concrete about KU when she doesn't, says she's a fan of Jimmy Wayne when she couldn't care less except for her own sick agenda, says Nicole learned the sex trade while in Amsterdam which is a lie, says she cares about children while she mocks all of Nicole's, lives in her own world of make-believe where Nicole is a pedophile, and says all of Nicole's fans are necrophiliacs or transvestites / all of Keith Urban's fans are teenagers.

What's left? Reality smacking her in the face and hammering the final nail in the coffin!

Mimosa: He hasn't interacted with fans on the street in years...not in the way he used to. Aug 18, 2010 2:36 PM

Another Keith Urban Myths Blog
Debunked: Bacall Disses Kidman

One of the biggest urban myths the skeptics have tried to keep alive online is that Lauren Bacall, two-time co-star of Nicole Kidman, dissed her in a 2004 interview. There's so much to the story that the E! and Urban Myths blog skeptics won't tell you. They simply keep repeating like brainless sheep that Bacall deliberately insulted Kidman.

THE FACTS

The interview occurred in 2004 while Bacall was promoting Birth.

A presenter for the British morning show GMTV, Jenni Falconer, made the uneducated statement," And now you've worked alongside another screen legend, Nicole Kidman ..." whereby Bacall interrupted her with this quote

Lauren Bacall: "She's not a legend. She's a beginner. What is this 'legend'? She can't be a legend at whatever age she is. She can't be a legend, you have to be older."

Nicole was only 37 at the time.

So why did the skeptics latch onto the quote? Because it was taken out of context courtesy of the media. There were stories claiming that Bacall was dissing Kidman with the abbreviated statement "She's not a legend. She's a beginner". The skeptics as usual, ignored the truth and latched onto reporting that was incorrect and misleading. But that's par for the course with the skeptics. If they can't invent something they lift other lies from other sources.

While we don't have that original interview we'd like to point out that Falconer is also par for the course in the UK. It's very common for female presenters, or what we Americans usually call hosts, to be young, pretty, without a journalism or media degree, and known to pose during the course of their fame for men's magazines or ads wearing very little. We can safely say they are more personality than serious broadcaster. Falconer is in fact one such "personality". Her lack of preparedness gave exactly what the media wanted, a malleable story that could be turned into something negative.

So what does Lauren Bacall really think of Nicole Kidman? The skeptics simply don't want you to know.

This blurb that was posted on the Urbna Myths blog in the terms just as we described above - inaccurate and misleading.

So, What Does Nicole Kidman Get Out Of This Deal Anyway?

September 2004 - Bacall Disses Kidman’s Legend Tag - During an interview on British TV show GMTV yesterday morning, Bacall, 79, became irritated when the 37-year-old Oscar winner was described as "a legend". Cutting off interviewer Jenni Falconer in mid-sentence, Bacall blurted, "She's not a legend. She's a beginner.”

Choice and Nicole Kidman's Journey even wrote a whole blog about it. Unfortunately for Choice they were told they had distorted the facts, but the blog decided, as usual to dismiss the truth.

Lauren Bacall will put you in your place

Today the myth continues. From an Urban Myths devotee....

smorgas91: l bacall came out swinging when nk was referred as a legend a few years back

But as always STS has the real deal, the proof!

So let's start with some video. Here's Lauren at Nicole's American Cinematheque tribute.

We also have some quotes

From the Venice Film festival, promoting Birth

"I love working with a young actress. Nicole and I worked together on Dogville and we were friends when we started this. That laid the groundwork for our fabulous relationship on screen and off."

Nicole has often talked about her friendship with Lauren, calling her her "NY mother" and later in 2006 revealing that she'd like to see the legend win an Oscar. It's easy to see the two are true friends.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

When Bacall updated her autobiography By Myself and Then Some, her friendship and work with Nicole was included. There's a photo of them together at the Birth premiere and she says this....

"Nicole Kidman was the star, and I would most happily play her mother. I was thrilled beyond words."

In 2008 Bacall attended the NY premiere of Australia

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

So much for this lie from this misinformed, anonymous skeptic:

"I am sure Lauren would not want to be known for being friends with Kidman. She has too much class to be seen with the likes of stick insect."

Another Urban Myths myth debunked. Not just the title topic but also many other aspects the skeptics try to lie about on a daily basis. Any of these sound familiar? Nicole Kidman has no friends. Nicole's co-stars never want to see or work with her again. Nicole lies about her life. Nicole cannot compliment anyone in the industry on their work. Nicole is a narcissist.

It's. Just. That. Easy.

BAHAHAHAHA!

What The Skeptics Do Best:
Quote Their Own Lies

Can you count how many are in this latest Urban Myths blog?

1. Recently Nic (since that's what Keith and her one true love call her) went to Haiti for a three hour tour.

2. Nope, she got a lot of pictures taken, sweated through her sweater and hat and left having done a good job.

3. Rumors are Nic bought this place a few months ago but waited to tell everyone until the box office numbers were in about her true love's last film.

4. Nic can sit high atop the Big Apple proud of her contribution to humankind while she smokes her cigarettes off one of her three balconies. Keith can nurse his rumored ulcer. And Sunday, well does anyone know what happened to her

That's 4. Not a record, but a decent effort.

"But when they bought this place they bought yet another place that will be inaccessible from those little people who might want to bother them. Another bonus is no one will see who actually lives there. Just like L.A., the gated place in Oz, the high rise in Sydney and the private gated farm in Tennessee."

Does anyone wonder why they have gated and secured homes? Angry obsessed fans want a piece of him and think they are owed that. It's that Skeptic Sense of Entitlement rearing its ugly head time and time again! The Urban Myths skeptics have really tried on this one. They've clearly attempted to link their sick ideas with a current article that's sure to get many hits over the next few weeks. Still it's an epic fail made up of the same old same old. Another word for it? Lies.

Two questions for the silly skeptics.....

1)What did you expect from Keith if you continued to buy his albums and go to his concerts? He'd invite you to his mansion that you gave him permission to deserve?

2)Why do you think you have a right to see into Keith's home from the road? Why do you need to know exactly when he's there and when he's not? Be glad their home is away from the road and gated. Otherwise, we'd have even more proof you are full-time liars. In the real world where sanity counts for something, Keith and Nicole's word, the word of other celebrities, and everyday Nashvillians is enough.

Why Other E! Online Skeptics Keep Their Distance From Mimosa

Mimosa is out of the loop when it comes to the friendship and backstabbing aspects of being a good skeptic. She's not BFF's with anyone, she doesn't have a sick and twisted dynamic like buddies nomorefan and astilbe. There's no co-dependent relationship to share the anger. What she said yesterday is a definite indicator of why. She tops the list for being libelous and defamatory when it comes to Nicole Kidman.

Here's the latest lie she's spreading...

Mimosa: Yep. And she meant for it [Schweppes' ad] to be suggestive. She's disgusting and immoral and very twisted.

But this we all can believe...

Mimosa: I won't buy anything she endorses. And I enlighten people about her all the time....starting with the movie "Birth".

No wonder Mimosa is a twisted nutcase. How many times in Anytown USA does Nicole Kidman come up in normal conversation? We know Mimosa, just like most of the skeptics, isn't anywhere near Nashville, Australia, or LA. She's nomorefan on steroids, talking about Nicole Kidman everywhere she goes, being sure to tell everyone she's a pervert. You can't get more twisted than that. We'd bet she gets alot of that fake Southern politeness she says she knows Nashville throws at Nicole. People nod and smile; at the end of her crackpot theories the parties subjected to them are rolling their eyes as they walk away in disbelief. "Enlighten"? Letting people know how hateful you are would be enlightening.

Where's fellow know-it-all givethanks / NewBeginnings when you need her. She'd post single sentence paragraphs, trying to convince everyone her nasty thoughts were 100% fact and irrefutable, all the while being a good Christian woman of course. It's too bad they didn't become BFF's....that's Backstabbing Friends Forever.

THE ART OF COLLABORATING
08.17.2010
Posted by: Brad

Good afternoon-

Just wanted to check in with everyone to keep you up to date with the latest happenings from the studio.

As you know, Keith doesn't like to waste time or momentum and had everyone back in the studio first thing Monday to start recording vocals and guitar overdubs on the dozen or so songs heʼs cut for his upcoming album.

As Iʼve been sitting in the studio the past few months watching all these extremely talented and accomplished musicians...Iʼve taken notice of how Keith collaborates so freely with these artists while still maintaining the leader/director role over the entire project. Even though Keith comes in with the songs and some very specific ideas of what he hears in his head, he still takes time to listen and entertain ideas that the other players suggest. Sometimes declining them with encouragement and thanks...other times throwing out his own ideas to substitute with a fresh and new slant from the band.

I donʼt only get to spend my days filming and photographing the making of this album (which is a very sweet gig)...but I also get daily lessons on how pros work with pros and how a great artist like Keith is able to keep genuine and talented people around him for so many years. Yes, Iʼm taking notes.

Keep checking back for more pics, videos and blogs over the next few months leading up to the release of the new album.

Thanks to Country Music Tattle Tale for the heads up on yet another Country Weekly cover for Keith Urban!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Keith Urban covers the new issue of Country Weekly. In the 2nd part of a 4-part series on Country Stars Giving Back, Keith Urban spoke to the magazine about the charities close to his heart, why he got involved, and how it makes him feel.

“I came from nothing, basically. Our family—very, very working class—really had nothing. [We had] a pretty rubbishy car and a pretty rubbishy house attached onto the back of the corner store my parents ran. My brother and I slept on little horsehair mattresses on the floor,” Keith allows. “To come from that and to be in the strange, rarified air I find myself in these days, I can certainly feel a strong pull to want to give back. I’m immensely blessed with what I’ve been given in my life.”

Since music is his love and livelihood, it’s also a cause he holds near and dear to his heart. Keith was the honorary dean at this year’s Grammy camp.

“Getting instruments into kids’ hands is something that been really important to me all my life,” Keith says. “I started so young—I was six when I started playing guitar. I was fortunate to a) have parents that could afford to buy me a guitar and pay for lessons and b) fortunate that I went to public schools and they had music in schools and that was pretty basic, pretty standard curriculum, but it seems more and more that that’s one of the programs they’re taking out of schools for budgetary reasons. That’s a huge, huge mistake. Things like the Grammy Camp correct that and give these kids the opportunity to get instruments in their hands where they might not otherwise get that.”

Keith also has joined forces with his wife, Nicole Kidman, to bring awareness to causes. Nicole is the Goodwill Ambassador for UNIFEM (United Nations Development Fund for Women) where she often talks about and against violence against women. The two have also shared support for flood victims in Nashville and wildfire victims in Australia.

“My wife has become involved with women’s rights and so I’ve found myself involved in that, and very gladly so, too. Not only violence against women, but women’s rights in countries where they are not being honored.”

I don’t know that there’s a common thread other than just people in need and, in certain cases, where there seems to be an extreme lack of justice—we certainly like to get involved in that,” Keith explains of the causes he and Nicole support. “There’s absolutely limitless causes on a daily basis for everybody to be involved in, it’s just looking to the ones that for me and Nic, that we feel strongly about and feel that we can actually do something about as well.”

“It’s not in Nic or I to do things for our own benefit, so we’ve shied away from more of the public stuff in the past, but it was pointed out to us by certain people that if we were to take a bit more of a public face with some of these that it might actually be more help than just the financial aid,” Keith say
s.

David Thomson who is screening Nicole Kidman's Birth as part of NYFF, has written a peice, listing his top Films That Time Forgot

Here's what he has to say about Birth

"How can a picture made so recently be lost or forgotten? Maybe it's because few critics understood Birth when it came out – so I find many people who haven't seen it or even heard of it! It's the story of Anna, whose husband dies, jogging in the snow in Central park. For 10 years she mourns and then she agrees to marry again. But at the engagement party a boy appears, and tells her he is her husband. Anna laughs, but the boy is serious, and gradually the occult idea breaks down her sanity or security. I won't say more about the story, or what the film means, but as directed by Jonathan Glazer (he made Sexy Beast – which you may have seen), this is a mysterious and haunting study of emotional insecurity. Nicole Kidman is Anna, and if you have ever doubted her, this is the film to see. For a few years I have been doing all I can to get everyone to see Birth. Try it – you will see, and you won't believe anyone got away with making a film like this."

Keith Urban interview for Parade Magazine

Keith Urban: 'Family Is Very, Very Strong in Our Lives'

by Erin Hill

Keith Urban is spreading the love. The country crooner is bringing the backyard barbecue experience to his fans -- along with KC Masterpiece -- as he stops off at outdoor festivals across the country on his Summer Lovin' Tour.

The music star told Parade.com that he is happy to take a break from playing bigger venues for the chance to connect with fans in a more intimate setting. Plus, how he balances his career with life at home with wife Nicole Kidman and two-year-old daughter Sunday.

Also, starting today, Parade readers will have the chance to win a once-in-a-lifetime experience: a private barbecue and concert with Keith Urban. Find out how you can enter for the chance to win!

Enjoying the great outdoors.
"We're in the midst of making a record, so it's been a year of a few shows and a lot of time in the studio. We haven't played outside in a long time. It seems as if a majority of our tours are in arenas, so all the festivals this year have been wonderful. It's just been great to play for a lot of people who probably haven't seen us play. Every night, faces of strangers out there singing along every word and just the energy in the audience is really amazing. It's all pretty magical to me."

Combining two American loves -- BBQ and country music.
"I always seem to be the guy providing the entertainment more than cooking. Grilling out and country music does seem to go hand-in-hand, and there's certainly no shortage of tailgaters before our concerts. At home, I do a little bit of cooking. My wife and I share the cooking duties a little bit."

How he balances home life while on tour.
"I don't know if there's any secret to it. Everybody sort of finds their own way to keep their life balanced. I know for me, family is first and I just make sure that I spread my time amongst the things that I love to do as well. Balance is never achieved, it's just maintained. And so far I've been able to maintain it."

Nicole is the perfect partner in crime.
"I'm fortunate to have a wife who understands about career as well. We're very blessed to have each other, and you recognize the importance of all the facets of our lives. But family is very, very strong in our lives."

What the future holds for country music.
"Right now, it's just as strong as it's ever been. What's great about country is it's quite a broad genre. If you say you're country, you almost have to say what kind of country because it seems to encompass a lot. It's got a great, rich history of always embracing current styles and trends within it in order to keep it relevant and keep moving forward."

Working on a new album.
"We're about almost halfway through. It's still very much in the formative stages. I'm just really enjoying being in the studio and anxious about getting this songs out on the road next year."

His inspiration when it comes to songwriting.
"Just life in general, and love. I tend to write from a rhythmic, melodic riff place. A lot of the times the story comes after the music has been written. The music comes from inspiration."

Recording was halted after losing valuable equipment during Nashville's devastating flood.
"I lost probably 98% of my equipment -- guitars, amplifiers, everything. A couple of guitars I've been able to resurrect, but the majority of it was destroyed so I've just started over again."

He's proud to call Nashville home.
"It's extraordinary. It's certainly not called the Volunteer State for nothing. The town's got such good community spirit. It seems like there was little national awareness to it because Nashville has a tendency to just jump in and take care of itself. I'm very, very proud to live in that city."

Nicole Kidman's Stories From Haiti:
Camp Guercy

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Camp Guercy

A picture near Camp Guercy, a badly destroyed part of Haiti’s capital, Port au Prince. With more than 1.5 million Haitians homeless and living in fragile tents, the lack of shelter and privacy makes women and girls so very vulnerable to sexual violence. The stories the women and teens shared about what happened to them really affected me. They are a call to action. Please donate to help end violence against women and girls in Haiti.

Nicole’s heartbreak for Haiti

August 19, 2010, 7:30 am

By Liz Henderson, Reported by Shane Sutton

Touching down in Haiti on July 29, Nicole Kidman was “absolutely shocked.” Although it is only a four-hour flight from Nashville, where she lives with husband Keith Urban and their toddler, Sunday, “You get off the plane and it feels like a world away,” she tells WHO. In the wake of the devastating January earthquake that claimed almost half a million lives and left 1 million people homeless, “it is a tent city,” she says incredulously. “You look at the level of destruction and think, ‘It will take 200 years to rebuild this.’ It is just unbelievable.”

If Kidman, 43, has anything to do with it, the outlook for women in the impoverished island nation will improve, and quickly. Late last month, the Oscar-winning actress spent two days in and around the capital, Port-au-Prince, drawing global attention to the plight of Haitian women as a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM), which since 2004 has pushed for women’s rights in Haiti. Her tour included meeting a former schoolteacher now educating local children in her garden, and a visit to Reviv, Haiti’s only refuge for women suffering violence.

Destroyed in the disaster, Reviv now consists of temporary structures erected in the backyard of the woman who runs it, Yolette Jeanty. Up to 10 girls, young women and their children—victims of violence and often gang rape—crowd in each. It’s cramped but safe, critical given women were easy prey when security crumbled in a nation where, pre-quake, one in three women had already survived violence. When the Reviv girls share their stories, the others block their ears because it’s too harrowing to hear how much they suffered. But they’re hopeful, too.

“Meeting these girls, I asked them what they wish for their future,” says Kidman. “They still have huge dreams. They are not unrealistic dreams. They say they want to be a paediatrician or to educate their daughter.”

It’s that freedom to hope that Kidman is zealous about protecting—and spreading. “At Reviv, you get a real sense of safety,” she says. “The challenge for the whole country now is to build a nation where women and children feel safe everywhere. That’s why I’m so passionate and support UNIFEM’s program to build more shelters in Haiti, so more women and girls, much like I met, will have a safe place.” The thought of the alternative moves Kidman to tears. Reading a New York Times feature on sex trafficking “about a young girl in Thailand and the things that had been done to her, I sat there weeping,” she says. “With Haiti I thought, ‘Let’s get over and see what we can do.’ ”

Despite her globetrotting job, charity definitely begins at home for Kidman. Growing up in Sydney’s northern suburbs, she was inspired by her psychologist father, Antony, and nurse mother, Janelle. “My mother has always had a strong social conscience,” she says. “After-school for me would be spent at Balmain Hospital, where Mum worked, and I’d see her caring for sick people. Before the age of 10, I knew she was a very compassionate person and that deeply influenced me.”

UNIFEM

Kidman also hopes to encourage her children, Sunday, 2, Isabella, 17, and Connor, 15, “to feel their life has a purpose that should be in some way, at some point, to help other human beings.” She shares that goal with Urban, 42, and says it helps knowing a charitable-minded guy with a guitar who’ll perform if she asks. In May, at Kidman’s request, he gave a hugely successful private concert for UNIFEM in Hong Kong.

While Kidman tries not to spend more than three days at a time away from Urban, the doting mum has been separated from her younger daughter only two nights in two years. But in Haiti, “safetywise, I couldn’t bring her,” she told USA Today on Aug. 2. Although obviously “crazy” about Sunday, her daughter “pulls my attention her way, and in a place like this, I am there to work and listen and to see,” she tells WHO. “Those days are not about me or my family, it is about other people’s families.”

Elegant even in dark casual clothes and navy Converse sneakers, her hair pulled back in a loose knot, Kidman is humbled meeting women’s advocates at the Reviv shelter on July 29. One issue canvassed was the kidnapping and rape of girls after the escape of 2,000 jail inmates during the quake.

While the Haiti heartache “makes me sad,” it also stirs Kidman to prompt others to help. “Go to the website and read about what is needed,” she urges. “Lobby governments [about] women’s rights. Be aware—because awareness leads to action.” She’s certainly playing her own part. Although she’ll soon begin filming Trespass with Nicolas Cage in Tennessee, UNIFEM will remain a focus and she plans a trip to Asia to shine a light on sex trafficking. “This,” she vows, “is something I will care passionately about for the rest of my life.”

To become a member, donate or support the UNIFEM Haiti Appeal, please visit UNIFEM Australia Website for more information.

You can also visit Kidman's new Facebook page, www.facebook.com/NicoleKidman. Nicole laughingly concedes she's a latecomer to social networking, "but the thing is that it is all about my work with UNIFEM... the things I care about."

Praised as the finest reference book ever written about movies, David Thomson's The New Biographical Dictionary of Film is its author's idiosyncratic, indispensible, and deeply addictive indexing of the key players in the history of moving pictures, from Abbott and Costello to Catherine Zeta-Jones. On the eve of the publication of the revised and expanded Fifth Edition, we have invited Thomson (himself a former member of the NYFF selection committee) to discuss his work, his writing process, and to present a film of his choosing. His selection is Birth (2004), director Jonathan Glazer's metaphysical thriller starring Nicole Kidman as a woman who becomes convinced that a 10-year-old boy is the reincarnation of her late husband. Thomson has hailed the film as a neglected masterpiece. Post-screening discussion with David Thomson and Film Society Associate Program Director Scott Foundas, followed by book-signing in the Frieda and Roy Furman Gallery.

Nicole is on the cover of the June 2010 issue of Aviamost, a Russian-language magazine from the UAE. The publication links travel, trade, and tourism between the CIS and the Middle East. It looks like the cover shot is from an Omega photoshoot. However, the story included is about Roger Dubuis entering the market.

Liana Liberato, the star of the David Schwimmer-directed drama “Trust”, has joined the cast of “Trespass.” Liberato will play alongside Nicole Kidman and Nicolas Cage as the daughter of a family held captive by a band of thieves.

Liberato’s quickly rising star will get a boost next month when “Trust” premieres at the Toronto International Film Festival. The drama follows a young girl who befriends a boy online, only to find out when they meet that he is a forty year old serial sex offender. Her parents are played by Clive Owen and Catherine Keener.

After the apparent departure and return of Cage last week, “Trespass” is continuing to move forward with production in Shreveport, LA with principle photography slated to begin on August 30. “Trespass” is directed by Joel Schumacher and produced by David and Irwin Winkler along with Nu Image/Millenium.
