The State Of Being Inept Keith Urban Myths Skeptic Maclen: Miserable

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

So despite all logic, maclen, ridiculous and inept skeptic maclen, continues to harp on albums sales figures. She says Capitol could have dumped him, despite the reality he was their top-selling artist. Let's forget today about the economy, phenom acts, acts that are new and have that honeymoon period, and Keith's documented success through digital sales. Let's take a look at other artists that should be dumped for no certification, certification taking too long, not making platinum sales or sales not performing to previous levels. Pure stats. Because after all, maclen can't be wrong, can she?

maclen: The fact of the matter...the one point I try to make on this blog...over and over...and over and over...is that THERE IS consequences to NOT selling as many cds as you have in the past! You know, the fansies can carp on about some other superfluous award nom or win...but that is just...PROMO...they can carp on about another featured cover story in People mag....but again, that is just PROMO...appearances on talk show...what was that word again? Oh right...PROMO! Now as to the noms and awards...it is true that the orb is not getting as much as he once did 5 years ago...and that is a reflection on his current standing in the country music industry..."out with the old and in with the new" is always and constantly in play. But if the extra media PR apparatus exposure the orb is now getting...especially with the collapse of "mutt"...and he still isnt able to simply sell cds to even his previous standards, he will be out of there. I felt CapNash was in the position to dump the orb from the label with the diminished cd sales of whole crazy..but they decided to stick with the orb for the next cd, Defying Sales. And now they are about to release another cd...perhaps rush releasing it before the orb's cds are usually released...and perhaps in a "stripped down approach"... if the orb doesnt sell...he is definately finished. And no amount of excuses or explainations from his monkeys...no amount of "organizing" or media "rigging" can save him in what I really believe is a certain inevitability.

Awards don't count....because Keith has been nominated and won. Tours don't count....because he's had successful ones. Appearances don't count....because Keith has been asked and well-received at many places, from television to charity events.

Of course the only thing that matters is album sales!

We could list more but there's really no need. Look through other artists like Faith Hill, Tim McGraw and Reba McEntire you'll see the same thing...sales that fluctuate or decrease. And in spite of that their labels didn't drop them, they didn't start touring the casino circuit, and they didn't plan a move to Branson! According to inept skeptic maclen they should be dropped!

The skeptics have tunnel vision. They can't accept that Keith Urban, without their help, has become one of the established artists of the genre. He's had hits in the US for over 10 years and is at the top of the country music ladder.

But poor pathetic maclen. The only thing she has for her blog is album sales, because those are diminished numbers. It doesn't stop there readers. Maclen is in a really bad way. Check out the top right sidebar for the true state of where she is. She can't admit the truth about Urban Myths and she can't admit the truth about Keith Urban or Nicole Kidman. Also, be sure to take a listen to the skeptics new theme song, just below the Skeptic Zone logo!

Somethin' Stupid From The
E! Online & Urban Myths Skeptics

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

It's been an absolutely disastrous time for the skeptics. The funny thing is it's nothing Nicole Kidman or Keith Urban have done out of the ordinary lately. It's simply that the skeptics, both at E! Online and Urban Myths, are their own worst enemies! Let's take a look at the Somethin' Stupid that's been happening in between the periods of dead silence.

There's the dueling skeptics, Mimosa and Inept Senior Skeptic Maclen. They really need to learn to coordinate their lies better.

Mimosa: The buckeye bakers and middle schoolers must be keeping him afloat.

Oh but wait that's not what Mimosa initially wrote. She edited her post in the middle of the night and changed it from fan club members to middle school trash talk which is the best she can do. Was she worried she might get in trouble with the mod? Well she's in trouble courtesy of STS because Inept Senior Skeptic Maclen is telling the world her truth is the only truth, and it's the polar opposite to Know-It-All Pitbull Mimosa!

Inept Senior Skeptic Maclen: Catering to his monkeybase with lame 30 sec "exclusive" videos and gouging them with jacked up and scalped tickets or the occasional giveaways is gonna keep the flock from a further mass "exodus" from the fansie site.

BAHAHAHA! Skeptics which is it? While the skeptics have turned Nicole Kidman into a medical marvel, able to have plastic surgery and then a reverse procedure every other week, they've also turned Keith Urban into a music industry magician. What artist in any genre is able to keep record sales, concert sales, award nominations, television performance slots, magazine covers, and hit singles coming on the base of just its paid fanclub members. He has no fanclub, he has a fanclub. He has no fanclub, he has a fanclub. The fans are are crazy stupid women who don't know any better, the fans are all 14. Oh you silly skeptics! Mimosa has been trying to post anything to keep the negative thread going but maclen was strangely silent while no one else posted either. She claimed nothing would stop her from shouting her lies but she was silent, until Urban Myths came back with new blogs. Interesting timing maclen..... Just a hint for the future, if we wanted to learn that Nicole Kidman is "so over" we could just read posts from two years ago. If "so over" means plenty of projects and charity work then let us all be "so over"!

More Urban Myths myths....

No video yet for "I'm In". Upset that Keith can get singles into the Top 10 without one? The days have been long gone that every single gets a video and every video is released at the time the song entered the charts. Maybe Tim McGraw should apologize for the declining number of videos he's put out. Oh but you don't even like the Keith Urban videos that are released and you don't watch them so...oh yes you do. You are upset you can't get your fix and then hurry to Urban Myths to post how much it sucks compared to the old days.

The blind vice reveal that said Nicole Kidman was the one who demanded a part be written for her in the Twilight franchise. If you're going to lie at least come up with something better!

Blind Items Revealed

January 26, 2010

This married A list actress knows she is losing her popularity quickly. So, she has informed her managers to get her in the next Twilight movie. When they told her there were no parts for her, she said, "Well have them make up one or I will find new managers. Who wouldn't want me in their movie?"

Nicole Kidman

So if one is to take blind vices seriously, the key is to interpret the words exactly as they are written. This is where the blind vice writer fails. Nicole Kidman never had a manager until recently and that is manager, singular. The blind vice was released a few days after her new manager's hiring was announced and take note again she never had a manager before. She has an agent, Kevin Huvane at CAA, and separate agency representation in Australia. She hasn't dropped Huvane and Huvane hasn't dropped her. Has Kidman dropped some imaginary managers she's been using all this time? We laugh. Skeptics pay attention....1)Posting that Kidman doesn't even know what Twilight is when she's said she saw the first one is hilarious. Good job. 2)She was spotted seeing Eclipse recently. So good job again. And 3)Those blind vices you hold so dear? They are nothing but a ploy by the websites to keep interest in their content so that you continue to visit, scour, and discuss, and therefore make more money for them. It doesn't matter if they are true or not, you keep the cash flowing. What do you get out of the deal? Heck even one of your own, A440, had the guts to post the blind vice was a dud. Your response skeptics? You ignored her.

Back to Keith's fanclub. There's been improvements made but does that satisfy the skeptics? No. One thing is for sure, his success since he began his new life with his wife and now daughter, have really brought out the true colors of the skeptics. Nothing is off limits. Exclusive video content isn't good enough, contests and more chances than ever to meet Keith Urban aren't good enough, planned chats and fan requested singles aren't good enough. What is? Outright ownership of the man and everything but the kitchen sink for $29.95

blue sky: Anyone who pays for this crap needs to step away from the computer and get professional help. Here's a great way to save the fansies' minimum wage income instead of putting it in a multi-millionaire's wallet - go out on youtube and you can watch Keith all day long for free to get your fix!

Here's something else to think about fansies. Instead of giving you a video that lasts a dozen seconds or so, how about concert seats in the first couple of rows?

How much longer will they continue to be suckers for this monopoly?

We like your idea of watching Keith online. The more hits he gets the closer he is to winning another People's Choice Award. But sorry skeptics fan clubs are money making organizations. Can't deal with that, don't join. Or do it "the skeptic way" and once an artist gets too big for you to invade his personal space, move on to someone new. There's always plenty of young attractive male country artists coming up through the ranks. We know some of you tried, hoping Keith would be single again. Take nomorefan, who admitted that she stayed a paid fanclub member until 2007. Those of us who aren't suckers know the ticket sales issue was around long before 2007, and there wasn't half as much bonus content. Why'd she stay? Oh I think we know why. But she's never really gone. She trolls the public message board looking for fans to make fun of and lies to create. Keith Urban doesn't need her money but she sure needs the fanclub message board!

Her pretend buddy Mimosa sure knows a thing or two about lies. Keith's been getting some stellar reviews from professionals (the ones who bother to do their job) and the fans. He gave a performance that was called by nomorefan favorite Storme Warren "the most magical thing I have ever seen on the CMA Fest stage". He was praised by Brooks and Dunn fans when he showed up to replace the duo at CountryFest.

But this is what we get from Mimosa....

Mimosa: So....all is quiet in KUNKYVILLE. Keefus can't even get a mention as a warm-up act anymore. When he used to open for bigger stars in the old days, he got better press than the headliner in many cases. I think he missed a golden opportunity this summer....but maybe he thinks he doesn't need improvement.

A sad pathetic attempt to get the Negative thread to the top of the board. It was after all dead for two days.

Another thing that's dying on the vine is the tired rumor that Nicole Kidman is hated in Nashville, by everyone, especially the music industry folk, and say it with me now....SHE HAS NO FRIENDS.

BAHAHAHAHA!

It's too bad for the skeptics another story has come out regarding a certain group of friends that Nicole has. Earlier this year she was spotted by CMT's Katie Cook with Kimberly Williams Paisley (Brad's wife) and Sheryl Crow. All of them with their kids hanging out for the afternoon at the local zoo. Sorry skeptics but Katie's a credible source no matter what you think of Twitter. And Sheryl Crow gave an interview at the Grammys where she said she was talking to "Nicole and Keith". Yes they are friends. Deal with it!

Redbook Excerpts

Sheryl Crow: "I've got great mommy friends. Here in Nashville, it's Kim Williams-Paisley [the actress and wife of country singer Brad Paisley], Nicole Kidman, and another friend, Tracie Hamilton [Olympic skater Scott Hamilton's wife]. They've been a wonderful resource for me. We get together at each other's homes, make dinner, and have girls' nights in. Or we'll go out for dinner and a drink--though we're mommies, so we don't let it all hang out. We've had good conversations about vaccinations, child-rearing, the "terrible twos"! Luckily, Wyatt's past the "terrible twos" now, which is great."

We also happened to find another piece on Sheryl which gives more insight into her and Nicole's friendship, beyond the mommyhood and an obvious love of music. Sheryl let Elle magazine photograph her NY apartment. You can see the Diane Arbus b&w photographs and antiques, both things Nicole loves. We heard from Brad Paisley before about the things he loves to do in Los Angeles like see independent cinema. Who knows, maybe just maybe, Kim likes some of that too.

So skeptics how does Nicole Kidman, who you say doesn't live in Nashville, have friendships with these women? You can't say they are lying, especially Kim, who is a perfect wife and mother on the Negative thread.

BTW there were rumors that Sheryl was leaving Nashville. Not true. She put her large farm up for sale to move closer to friends and to get a smaller piece of property. Will the skeptics try to spin it that Sheryl secretly wanted to get away from Nicole? Who knows but we wouldn't be surprised if they did. Funny she could end up closer than ever in Leiper's Fork!

We'll close with probably the biggest lie of the week. It's a new one...after all in these hard times the skeptics are going to have to invent a lie or rumor every week to keep the Negative Thread from falling off the face of the earth.

nomorefan: I came home from shopping this weekend, and my husband called me to the living room. He said I have to listen to this great voice. When I entered the living room, he had "Moulin Rouge" on TV, and the "great" voice singing was Baby Girl. After seeing her singing skills with her husband on stage, I am more convinced that someone else was singing for her in that movie. Her voice was so flat, and she is obviously tone-deaf that there is no way that is her singing voice. Heck Pierce Bronson even did his own singing in "Mama Mia", which was bad, but he had the balls to use his own voice.

Is tag-team hating the new thing? Did hubby tell you to post this whopper because nomorefan you are really going to wish you hadn't after we're done.

So to clarify if anyone is still confused, what nomorefan posted is a big fat lie. But here at STS we have proof to back up what we say.

Nomorefan, in the words of Mimosa, you really need to do some research!

Let's just put aside the fact that Nicole's singing voice sounds exactly like her.

Nicole Kidman hasn't just sung in Moulin Rouge!, Happy Feet, and Nine. Oh no. You are forgetting Wills & Burke, a comedy about Australia's version of Lewis and Clark and Practical Magic.

That's 5 movies. She's tone deaf but had that many production companies deal with getting a voice double and keeping it a secret? Who was her singing double, Marni Nixon?

There's a duet she did with Robbie Williams, a remake of "Somethin' Stupid" which was a Top 10 hit in Australia and #1 in the UK, and featured in her film Birthday Girl. We'd love to say sure nomorefan you are right, she faked the whole thing. But then there's the mystery track of outtakes at the end of Robbie's CD Swing While You're Winning. Nicole was recorded talking in the booth in between takes. Do we hear nomorefan scrambling to find the audio online? BAHAHAHAHA!

There's also the not-so-small issue of industry people, people with reputations to be concerned about, who we find it impossible to believe would lie about Nicole Kidman's voice year after year.

Here's Ewan MacGregor with Nicole, a clip shown on Oprah when Nicole was there to promote Moulin Rouge!

And here's Ewan MacGregor again. This time he's appearing on Parkinson, a television program that's an institution in the UK. Nicole also happened to be there but she was promoting The Others. She stayed for the entire show and here's what they had to say

Nicole Kidman's voice coach Andrew Ross might have a thing or two to say to nomorefan about Nicole Kidman faking the whole thing. Because honestly what was he doing wasting his time working in a studio with the woman if she wasn't really singing????

That's right more proof...this from the leading industry magazine for commercial recording!

Mix Magazine

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA

C'est chic! Last fall, Tom Cruise's former better half, Nicole Kidman, sashayed her way into The Village (West Los Angeles) to work with producer Andrew Ross on the second soundtrack for the film Moulin Rouge. Greg Morgenstein engineered the session, and second engineer Matt Marrin kept everyone honest

That's the second soundtrack as in Volume 2, not a second attempt because the first was scrapped.

Wow, how much more can nomorefan take? She's proven wrong about Nicole singing and to top it off industry professionals are willing to work with her time and time again. Nomorefan is probably unaware that Happy Feet was almost a kind of coming home for Nicole. Early on in her career Nicole did two television miniseries for Kennedy Miller, an Australian production company. Those performances in Vietnam and Bangkok Hotel garnered her high praise, especially since she had to carry both movies, and people took notice. George Miller, the surviving half of KM was the director for Happy Feet. He's known Nicole for years and wanted to work with her again. Imagine that skeptics!

Nomorefan this time you really outdid yourself. It's on par with the "Nicole has man legs" mantra!

How stupid do the skeptics want to look? Pretty damn stupid.

Here's "Somethin' Stupid", the skeptics' favorite music video. Enjoy and remember

Nashville Keeps On Playing

GAC's televised benefit for Middle Tennessee Flood Relief was a huge success, raising over $1.5 million dollars!!!

It was another great night of family and community. We saw Linda Davis in the audience, supporting her daughter in Lady Antebellum. Brad Paisley's father took donations over the phone, as did Keith and Nicole. And actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley also pitched in by co-hosting the event with Nashville native James Denton.

Some memorable moments of the evening included seeing citizen's homes, a church, and veterinary hospital after the devastation...Kellie Pickler proudly wearing her I Heart Nashville tee while performing (you can get them HERE)....GAC host Suzanne Alexander and WKRN talent Neil Orne joking about having the hard task of being seated next to Nicole Kidman at the phone lines....Kim and James having to deal with live tv....everyone standing for the continuous stream of outstanding performances....everyone standing for those who helped the flood victims in every way possible.

It was a night not to miss and a night for great music. Tonight we'll get things started by sharing Keith Urban's double performance of The Beatles' "Help", followed by his hit "Better Life". More performances up tomorrow. Enjoy!

Adam Richman: (Deep Breath) Backstage watching Keith Urban, standing next to Sheryl Crow and Nicole Kidman. At this point birthday gifts seem redundant!

Lost In The Nashville Flood

Lost In The Nashville Flood

Anyone who knows the feeling of becoming intimately familiar with a particular musical instrument can’t help but sympathize with all those musicians who lost prized pieces of equipment during the recent floods in Nashville.

I reached out to several to ask whether they’d been affected by the wall of water that submerged Soundcheck Nashville, one of the key musical equipment storage facilities there. A lot of people think of instruments as little more than furniture that's easily replaceable, but that notion quickly fades when you hear a musician talk about a favorite piece of musical equipment. And even for those instruments that might be in good enough shape to repair, the chorus from those dealing with them was remarkably consistent: "They'll never be the same."

Brad Paisley had all his guitars and other equipment he uses on tour at Soundcheck because he and his crew were rehearsing for a tour that opens May 21 in Virginia Beach, Va. Ironically, it’s “The H20 Tour” from the track “Water” on his latest album, recorded long before the flood.

“It was under the Cumberland River,” Paisley told me by phone from his home in Nashville. “I don’t know what was in that water, but it was bad. There were spiders, snakes, it was just awful….The bridge on my Telecasters -- they’re fairly new guitars, and they’re chrome-plated. Some of them are titanium, and they had corrosion that looked like they were 50 years old.”

Paisley’s equipment was insured -- many musicians' gear wasn't -- but even so, he notes that several of his favorite guitars that were destroyed were vintage instruments 50 or 60 years old that can’t be replaced.

“I called Vince [Gill] right afterward and said, 'Tell me your '53 Tele wasn’t in there.’ That's the one guitar you most associate with him. He said, 'It wasn’t -- actually, everything I tour with was in a truck that couldn’t get back to Soundcheck because of the rain.’ He just had his collectible stuff there, which is just as bad. Keith [Urban] and I were just the opposite. Everything we have that goes on the road was in there.”

Keyboardist John Hobbs told me about the Hammond B3 organ he’s played on innumerable recording sessions and live performances: “My B3 I bought from a lady in Ohio who bought it new in 1955. She had nursed it, and it had the maintenance record taped to the top of the bench: ‘Cleaned and oiled, Feb. 1, 1956…Cleaned and oiled Feb. 1957.’ Unbelievable. I had it all cherried out with the very best tubes to get it sounding great. I even had a name for it, I called her Nellie Belle. Anyway, it’s a hit, it’s a big hit.”

Guitarist John Jorgenson just returned from a tour through Europe, “which had its own challenges with the volcano, immigration issues, etc…."

Back in Nashville, he said, “My home, family and pets were all OK, but not so much my instruments. My basement flooded with all my vintage Vox amps, and once I was able to get them recovered I found out about Soundcheck, where I indeed had a lot of instruments and amps stored -- most of the ones I used on tour with Elton, and all the ones I'd have taken to sessions, many one-of-a-kind, specially made for me, the others vintage.

“It was of course horrible to know that they were all sitting in water for days and I was in Europe and could do nothing about it, although no one else could either, as the whole building was inaccessible. [I’m] back home now, and dealing with the massive amount of ruined gear and instruments ... they were much worse than I thought, as all the guitars spent days submerged in water containing diesel fuel and sewage.”

Then he ran part way down the laundry list of his damaged equipment:

“Monteleone mando[lin] is toast, Gibson A2 [mandolin] went into a bag in so many pieces, '61 Les Paul SG [electric guitar], '64 SG Custom, '70 Les Paul Custom, Yellow Submarine Casino, Hank Marvin Strat ...four vintage AC30s [Vox amplifiers], 2 JJ Matchless [amps] ... A dozen amps and about 25 guitars, plus cases, trunks, rack units, pedals ... incredible.”

I mentioned to him that Keith Urban and Vince Gill, both of whom lost a considerable amount of instruments and gear, opted not to do interviews out of respect for musicians who were in far worse shape.

“I understand perhaps why some others don't want to speak about it,” Jorgenson said, “but it certainly is an aspect of this whole story that many don't understand.”

Joe Chambers, a musician who opened the Musicians Hall of Fame about a year ago, put it this way: “This is a very personal thing. An instrument becomes an extension of you. Music itself is all mental. Personally, somebody could hand me a yellow guitar with pink polka dots on it, and I couldn’t be very creative with it. I’d reject it. By the same token, it could be a guitar that’s not necessarily a brand name, but just one that sounded good in the right hands and it makes beautiful music.

“You could take a really nice instrument, but it might not lay in your hand right, so you’re not going to play to the best of your ability,” Chambers said. “For songwriters and musicians, these things are not tangible.”

Paisley said the guitars he’s lost represent more than just physical objects -- “It seems like they become old friends.” At the same time, he said, “They are just guitars. I haven’t had time or an inkling to be sad or complain about anything…. I think the silver lining is that we’ve seen a side of Nashville you only see emerge in this kind of adversity, and it’s a fantastically graceful place. No one’s looking for a handout. No one’s even angry.

“They just instantly went into this everybody-needs-help-and-we’re-going-to-help-them mode,” Paisley said. “This is a small town basically, and it’s small enough that it’s hard to look the other way.”

-- Randy Lewis

Some Lessons For The E! Online Skeptics and Urban Myths

Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

Keith Urban pays tribute to Rolling Stones — and Nashville — on 'Fallon'

Keith Urban represented Nashville again on Tuesday night with an all-star band and an inspired performance of The Rolling Stones' “Tumbling Dice” on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

Fallon is hosting a Rolling Stones-themed week on the show, and Urban changed the lyrics in the last chorus of the Stones classic to reflect the recent flood in Nashville.

“There’s a rain been coming down in Nashville, Tennessee,” Urban sang, a borrowed guitar slung around his chest. (Urban lost all of his gear in the flood.) “All week in Nashville, baby. All week in Nashville we’ve been watching the Cumberland rise. So send the money, mama.”

Seems like there's a good chance The Stones approved of the timely lyrics, as longtime keyboard player Chuck Leavell sat in with Urban's band. Familiar Nashville faces in the backing group included Karen Fairchild and Kimberly Schlapman of Little Big Town and Sarah Buxton on background vocals, producer Tony Brown on upright piano, and Urban’s usual players Jerry Flowers, Chris McHugh and Brian Nutter.

maclen: Orb was very much a "bland pale white bread" version of a true classic...and beleive me...my two cents...orb aint no "guitar hero"...he's a one dimensional "picker"...jangles like a "jingle"..no more...no less.

No, the fact that the orb's current cd...the now year old "Defying Sales" sold a paltry 800k cds...as compared to the 2mil sold of his previous cd, "Whole crazy thing" is proof his career is over!

Jakra777 / Oh " so" Leery: Yea its funny that Urban was on JF last night singing an RS tune. I guess hes trying out for his opening spot for the Eagles. I dont see it myself maybe Im missing something here. (shaking my head)

erniesmom: Yep---Very selfish if you ask me...I saw him on CNN and whinning about his big loss.Nothing Tommy's money can't replace...

Keith Urban On The Flooding In Nashville

Keith Urban appeared on CNN today, from Nashville, to talk about the flooding that has affected so many in Tennessee. The show was Rick's List and although the host wanted to discuss Keith's wife and his good looks, the musician was ready to say what was in his heart. Unfortunately most of his equipment was stored along with Brad Paisley's and Vince Gill's in the same location so he is not sure what the extent of the personal damage is just yet. He was scheduled to start recording the new album this week, but with everything else up in the air, that is now too. As expected Keith and Nicole are assisting financially with the effort and Keith pointed out his loss should not be compared to those who have lost everything. The local radio stations are all about fundraising at this point and everyone is helping in every way they can. The country music community will be doing a benefit concert. Nashville helping Nashville.

As usual the skeptics have turned on Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman declaring they simply don't care and will be using the floods for PR.

Tara: Its very telling that while other Country stars are making statements and urging the fans to give to the Red Cross- the vacationer hasn't said a peep.

Sorry Tara but Keith's Twitter gave a link to donate two days ago. Where were you?

nomorefan: And I agree, the Kidmans will ride the PR train on this disaster. I wonder if they even have a clue what is happening?

Ridiculous! Spending your time talking about Dorf is really helping!

nomorefan: Ya know, while searching for some fun video to share with you. I'm seeing a similar hair color between Dorf's hair piece and Mr. Nicole Kidman's colored hair!

In the end nothing the couple does will be enough from the skeptics point of view. Then again they live in a fantasy world where KUNK's dirty money can magically fix everything for everyone if only they cared.

Stay tuned here for more of the truth.

Tragedy In Nashville

For those outside of Music City and the southeast United States, and that would be most of us, coverage of the massive flooding has been appallingly sparse. Our prayers, good thoughts, and good wishes go out to all people affected. As this blog concerns three residents of Nashville, the Urbans, it's appropriate we say we hope all is well and that your homes, property, belongings, and friends are all safe and sound. Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban's residence outside the city sits on a hill, so with that knowledge we hope that the worst is that the driveway is washed out.

Unfortunately with months worth of rain coming down in two days time and the Cumberland River overflowing, many landmarks have been affected. The Grand Ole Opry House, the Opryland Hotel, downtown Nashville and the world famous clubs are shut down and flooded out. So far 8 people have died in the Nashville area alone.

A few country music stars who regularly Twitter have shared their experiences and we hope anything they put out there will shed more light on this tragedy. It's not over and the media needs to pay attention.

Brad Paisley

# On the positive side everyone is safe. On the negative... I think all my road guitar gear, amps, effects, are under 3 ft of river.

Dierks Bentley

hate to cancel shows...might be a first. but nashville is a disaster. all of our houses are messed up.

Martina McBride

Home safe. Watching all the footage of the flood on tv. Surreal

Keith Urban's Twitter account has retweeted an important message

E! Online Skeptic Nomorefan Is A Genius!

Readers, I know what you are thinking...."Skewermistress you have lost you mind!" Just hear me out folks. Skeptic nomorefan is truly a genius. She's figured out a surefire way to tell if celebrity marriages are fakes. Really. It's a foolproof method. If the celebrity couple poses in the same way at award shows the marriage is a sham. Makes perfect sense!

Let's try it out on Brad Paisley and Kimberly Williams. We know their marriage is real, rock solid. Kimberly is a real woman, Brad's still a guy right?

2008 CMT Awards

2009 CMA Awards

Uh, okay that didn't turn out so well. It looks like nomorefan needs to go back to the drawing board on that one. But surely she's right about something.....

Cassidy Bentley! She's a real woman. Those playdate stories between Evie and Sunday are bogus. I mean c'mon Cassidy would never be seen in the same room as Nicole Kidman would she?

Oh brother, nomorefan struck out again!

So sorry folks for wasting your time. Apologies all around.

nomorefan needs help with her brain. Badly.
