Yeah, That's EXACTLY What's
Going On Here Mimosa!

Mimosa: I kinda hope they keep it up. It's very entertaining to watch them make fools of themselves....especially since they seem to not have a clue. The harder they try...the funnier it is.

Meanwhile back at the Urban Myths Ranch.....

Tara: Most of the entire relationship is built on myth. I am glad everyone knew because back then no one knew anything. And the first spotting of her at a concert was in Buffalo - thats the first one that was talked about and that was in November of 05.

But Keith didn't play Buffalo and after Tara was told her stories are a load of bull....

hoosierlady: Let me off the chain,

I beg you,

Let me have the floor and don't hold me back.

I want my Urban Myths back the way it was, this isn't fun. I want my happy little fun world back, and this is just a huge bubble buster.

PLEASE LET ME HAVE HER

I won't ask for anything for Christmas, my birthday, or Valentine's day for 2 years.

I'll stop mumbling the f word while driving,

I need my Urban Myths at the end of a long day.

Please?

You are pleading to lie and be lied to. After 5 years that's no surprise at all.

A Couple Of History Lessons
For Tara And The Skeptics

Urban Myths Tara also known as hit n run on E! is spinning another tall tale, trying to sell a myth that isn't worth the corn field she heard it in....

Tara: there were all these sightings of them all over the place
even in Conn and I know for a fact that Keith was in Nashville but thats how the myths got started..

No that's how Tara / hit n run starts a myth, miles away from Music City.

Here's the lowdown for those that don't know, or those that are in denial.

The sightings in Connecticut were real. They ate at a restaurant called La Luna in guess what skeptics...Connecticut.

Here's a translated quote from Pedro Brando, the Brazilian designer of the Urbans' wedding bands

"She saw a few jewels I made and invited me to call on her apartment. I went there and she suddenly ordered the rings. I was inspired by the moon and then after I made them, Keith told me their first date was in a restaurant called 'La Luna'. I was enchanted by her simplicity."

Oh and here's a photo of the couple with Brando

We'd wouldn't be surprised if one of Keith's logos seen here

and more recently here (Thanks rutkmi!)

was inspired by that date. Either way we'd bet on Kris Kristofferson over the corn fields every time!

Now, kudos to US Weekly. After Keith and Nicole's daughter was born the E! online skeptics tried to spin the many myths about the name, the naming, who named her, the lies go on and on. But the mag, who recently did a feature on celebrity baby names, actually got the story behind the name right. It's a miracle!

What's In A Name

Happy second birthday, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban!

Parents Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban stunned the world by choosing the unusual day name for their daughter, born July 7, 2008. Though Kidman's father suggested the name Sunday, inspired by Australian patron of the arts Sunday Reed, Kidman and Urban settled on the name because they love the day of the week.

"That's our favorite day because if you're happy and you've got your family and the things around you, then Sunday's a beautiful day," Kidman told Oprah Winfrey three months after the child's birth. "So our baby's called Sunday."

Will nomorefan ban the magazine like the skeptics have with so many other products and organizations due to a positive Kidman connection? Not likely but the thought of her anger over facts being published instead of lies gives us a chuckle!

Keith Urban And Nicole Kidman Updates 06/29/10

The biggest news hitting the internet, besides Keith Urban making it onto the Forbes Top 100 Celebrity List at #76 is this....

Investors are hoping that the new tour will help drive the video production company’s revenues. Last quarter, the firm realized a net loss that narrowed to $317,587, or $0.01 per share, versus approximately $1.3 million a year ago, on revenues of $413,272 versus just $61,022 a year ago. Some stories from the road. Isn't it interesting Urban Myths' Tara these businesses want the positive PR of having two superstars visit their establishments. Funny how they aren't embarrassed by what you call "has-beens"!

Keith Urban likes Fruita’s coffee
By Richie Ann Ashcraft
Monday, June 28, 2010

Tom Hinman wouldn’t know a celebrity if one walked right up to him.

So he was surprised to learn that legendary country music singer Keith Urban, headliner at this year’s Country Jam, did just that at Aspen Street Coffee House, last weekend.

Another person working the counter recognized Urban and told Hinman, owner of the shop.

Urban asked for a chicken sandwich but the coffee shop doesn’t serve chicken sandwiches, so he settled for a cup of black coffee instead.

“He was very pleasant,” laughed Hinman as he told of the brief conversation they had.

Urban, who was wearing a cowboy hat and dark sunglasses, asked “What do people say about your coffee?”

“They say it’s good,” Hinman replied.

“It is good,” Urban said.

That’s all there was to Hinman’s brush with country-music fame but it was enough for Hinman to change the sign out front to read: “Keith Urban likes what people say about our coffee.”

“It was obvious he really didn’t want to be bothered,” Hinman said, adding that Urban was accompanied by a woman and a very large bodyguard.

This is the first celebrity Hinman, whose owned the store for eight months, has ever met but rumor has it that Graham Nash, of the band Crosby, Stills and Nash, always makes a pit stop at Aspen Street when he’s in Fruita several times a year.

Celebrity Sighting: Keith Urban, Nicole Kidman Work Out at Fruita Gym

FRUITA, Colo (KKCO) - Country Jam 2010 is in the books -- but a Fruita business will be talking about it for a long time to come, after two huge stars stopped by on their way to Mack.

While thousands watched country music's biggest stars light up the stage at the Country Jam Ranch Sunday, Fruita Health Club employee Meghan Woodland was at work. Little did she know, however, that a big piece of Country Jam was going to come to her.

She got a phone call form the gym's owners telling her a band would be stopping by to work out -- but didn't find out who it was until later in the day.

"I got a second call saying that Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman were coming to work out," said Woodland, who was the only employee working at the time. "I was warned about ten minutes before they came so I could relax and get my business face on."

But Woodland says several days notice probably wouldn't have been enough time to calm her nerves.

"My jaw dropped," said Woodland. "It's a good thing I was sitting down, because I needed to sit."

Especially when they walked through the front door.

"It was surreal," said Woodland. "They're real people wearing real workout outfits. It sounds funny, but meeting them was just humbling. They said hello and thank you for letting us come here."

She says the famous couple worked out for about an hour and a half -- Nicole Kidman on an eliptical and Urban lifting weights and doing other strength training in the aerobics room.

"I would find things to do in the room out there so I could walk back-and-forth to see what they were doing," said Woodland.

Although security asked that no one take pictures of the pair while they worked out, the gracious superstars signed a wall near the front entrance of the gym -- giving the excited business a little something to remember this once in a lifetime encounter by.

"I hope next Country Jam I'm working here to see who I get to meet," said Woodland.

On the road in Colorado Keith's bus hit an elk

RSACrazymonkey9 "it's our anniversary and what do I do for a gift? We hit an elk..." Keith Urban. xD

justinostrander They cleaned most of the elk off, but there's still a little fur stuck in Keith Urban's bus.

But don't worry, Keith and Co. were still running strong, picking up a stranded band out on the road!

LoCashCowboys Thanx 2 KEITH URBAN...we're finally on our way home 2 NASH! KU's TourBus stoppd & pickd us up n Denver! ON THE ROAD AGAIN...keep VOTIN! -pb

American Idol's Kris Allen talks about Keith

Exclusive Interview

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: You're opening some shows with Barenaked Ladies and some shows with Keith Urban. They're so different musically. What has that been like for you?
A. Kris: It's been really cool. The music that we play, I think people are gonna love it. We played one show with Keith and it was awesome. We were in Vegas and there were a ton of people there. Keith is such a really cool guy and he embraces everything. We played a few shows with Barenaked Ladies too, and they have a great following. Being in the opener spot is great because you get to play for a bit and get the crowd excited.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What have you learned from being around them?
A. Kris: The times we've been around the Barenaked Ladies have been really scarce. They're funny guys. Keith handles himself really well. He's just a guy. He's one of the biggest country stars, or music stars in general, out there. He loves doing what he does. People forget that he's just a regular person, a regular guy.

Greeley Concert Review

Muddy cow poo wouldn’t stop fans from seeing the country superstar

Click on link for large set of concert photos

“Are you here for the Keith concert?” asked our waitress at Red Lobster in Greeley. Clearly our answer was an ecstatic “yes” as we looked around to see all the other country fans cuted up to head to the Greeley Stampede for the long-awaited concert. That’s right, Keith Urban was in Greeley getting ready to play in front of a packed crowd at the fairgrounds in the heart of the Greeley Stampede.

Metromix arrived to lines of cowboys and cowgirls ready to get in and get to their seats. It was slowly becoming obvious that Keith Urban is probably playing in front of thousands of his No. 1 fans with many handmade signs detailing their love for Urban and some reading as simple as “hug me.”

Concertgoers paid more to be up front and center and on the grounds of the arena. The only problem? It was a down pour hours earlier, leaving the fairgrounds a giant muddy mess. People even wrapped their feet up in plastic bags only to find that mud and plastic are slick. Others just said “The hell with it,” and wore no shoes around the muddy mess just to be closer to the stage. And some, yes like your fellow Metromixers, wore white high heels and stuck it out. We officially want a shirt that reads “We stepped in cow poo for Keith Urban.”
Yes, we were at a country concert and it couldn’t get more country than that.

Once Keith Urban came out on stage, the crowd went wild, shoving the people next to them to see if they can get a closer look at the long, flawless haired country superstar. Without a doubt concertgoers weren’t disappointed with the upbeat song choices of the night with Urban belting the familiar tunes of “Days Go By,” “You’ll Think of Me,” and “You Look Good in My Shirt.”

It wasn’t until Keith said to the crowd, “I am celebrating my wedding anniversary with my wife (Nicole Kidman) and she was going to leave and decided to stay behind so now she’s with me while I am in Greeley.” And the crowd went nuts with the thought of Nicole Kidman sitting backstage during the concert. Keith immediately went on to a popular love ballad and dedicated it to her.

All in all, fans stepped in cow poo for Keith Urban and nothing but smiles and lyrics left after the concert. We even overheard a couple fans say, “Gosh that Keith sure knows how to rock a crowd.”

We'll close by reminding you Dierks Bentley's new bluegrass cd, Up On The Ridge, is out now. If you love that kind of music pick yourself up a copy; it's a great collection of songs. One of our favorites is Dierks pushing the boundaries of the genre with a cover of U2's classic "Pride (In The Name Of Love)". Oh what would the skeptics say! Enjoy!

Tara And Maclen: Urban Myths
Liars Caught Once Again

At rehearsals jamming with John Mayer, for the CMT Awards tonight.
~ Keith Urban

tara: It sounds like he may not even be playing live but they are going to show a clip from his Crossroads show with that pillar of virtue John Mayer.

maclen: and a few days ago I have noticed as I was perusing Getty Images...they had photos of the awards rehearsals. And then I noticed that orb was NOT included...and then earlier today I noticed an update of day 2 of rehearsals for the show...

http://www.gettyimages.com/Search/Search.aspx?EventId=101589891&EditorialProduct=Entertainment

TN: 2010 CMT Music Awards - Rehearsals - Day 2

...and again, missing...is napalm mayer's new partner, orb...and for that matter napalm himself is missing from the rehearsals for the show. So, I WONDER...what possible reason would there be for the dimwitted duo to pass on rehearsing for the show? I mean, it's not like any of the other announced performers of the show who were also not at the rehearsals have a such a huge and negative stench and pall hanging over their disgraced heads over vile comments they made! Surely, I KNOW precisely why they would not have the guts to show their faces for the expected photographers at the rehearsals! And it also gives me pause to even consider that tara may in fact be right in his/her comment a few threads ago that they may in fact NOT play live on the show...and perhaps they would simply show a clip of the crossroads taping.

How long ago was it announced Keith Urban and John Mayer would be doing Hit The Ground Running? And how did you nitwits miss the fact that that Keith talked about it on his livestream chat????

Oh you skeptics and haters never learn! But you certainly put the myths in Urban Myths!

Keith Urban Skeptics Want To Change History

Take a look at the recent comments on the Urban Myths blog, emphasis on the Myths. Why? Because it seems the Keith Urban fans that post there want to change who Keith was and still is

A440: Keith became religious -"a prayer," in his own words - during his druggie phase (as he mentioned to Katie Couric in early 2005 for the Dateline interview he did).

Laura: And mikki, Keith is and always has been pretty religious. Maybe not as much before as he is now, but I've seen several interviews from the past where he talks about God, too.

Tara: His beliefs are more New Age than fire and brimstone

From the man's own mouth

2002

KU: "I'm not religious at all, but I'm very spiritual and I have a very strong faith and it got me through."

2005

YOU THANK GOD OFTEN IN THE LINER NOTES. ARE YOU A SPIRITUAL PERSON? AND HOW DOES YOUR SPIRITUALITY AFFECT YOUR SONGWRITING?

KU: Very spiritual. Not religious, but very spiritual. I don’t know how it inspires my songs, but I just know that it does. I think that spirituality probably inspires it by the view of looking at lyrics. I find that a lot of songs I write I talk about “you” as opposed to “her,” and it can have a spiritual connotation or personal connotation depending on who ‘you’ is. ‘You’ might be God, your girlfriend, mom, dad-it could be nature. It could be anything. I think I subconsciously keep songs a little ambiguous, again to not be too specific, and it lets people gravitate towards them in their own way.

2009

"Thank You"

And I thank god for grace and mercy
And that you became my wife

Skeptics get a clue! You can't rewrite history when it suits your agenda. A big myth you spread is that you must be "religious" in order to attend church or Mass, or that you are "religious" if you believe in a higher power.

But the biggest Skeptic Myth there is is that every single one of you is anything like what you say you are. Your words and lies give you away each time you post!

Hey Skeptics,
The Urbans Have Already Left!

hit n run: So, is Sunday in China? Are Bella & Connor still considered a part of her family? Just asking.......

Tara: I am sure if there is sightseeing to be done then we will have our snaps but the rest is interesting.

The skeptics are left looking clueless and stupid once again. Where are Keith Urban and wife Nicole Kidman???!!! As reported here they spent a short time, less than 2 days, in Hong Kong and have already left. Pictures have been released of the couple happily departing with smiles on their faces.

There's video and two extra pictures on this site

ON.CC

Much was discussed during Nicole Kidman's press conference including her future UNIFEM work and future ambassadorship for Omega. But let's let the skeptics squirm a little. Admitting they themselves know would be admitting they are members of Nicole's fansites. Meanwhile the haters are pretending she has "nothing to do". So much for that theory! The question now is how long will it take for the idiots to berate the parents for not taking their small child on a whirlwind trip, a decision that would have been much less sensible!

BAHAHAHAHA!

P.S. Just for you Mimosa....

Mimosa: Just how does that help a woman in Darfur?

This trip was to help women in Asia. Darfur is in Africa, a totally different continent. This directly from UNIFEM....

"The proceeds from the fundraiser will strengthen UNIFEM’s work in China, which has a strong focus on ending violence against women. The funds will support shelter and legal protection for survivors of violence and address the challenges faced by HIV-positive women and their intersections with violence against women. They will also advance programmes that focus on the economic empowerment of migrant and domestic workers through training and education and women’s political participation at the local level."

Keith Urban On The Flooding In Nashville

Keith Urban appeared on CNN today, from Nashville, to talk about the flooding that has affected so many in Tennessee. The show was Rick's List and although the host wanted to discuss Keith's wife and his good looks, the musician was ready to say what was in his heart. Unfortunately most of his equipment was stored along with Brad Paisley's and Vince Gill's in the same location so he is not sure what the extent of the personal damage is just yet. He was scheduled to start recording the new album this week, but with everything else up in the air, that is now too. As expected Keith and Nicole are assisting financially with the effort and Keith pointed out his loss should not be compared to those who have lost everything. The local radio stations are all about fundraising at this point and everyone is helping in every way they can. The country music community will be doing a benefit concert. Nashville helping Nashville.

As usual the skeptics have turned on Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman declaring they simply don't care and will be using the floods for PR.

Tara: Its very telling that while other Country stars are making statements and urging the fans to give to the Red Cross- the vacationer hasn't said a peep.

Sorry Tara but Keith's Twitter gave a link to donate two days ago. Where were you?

nomorefan: And I agree, the Kidmans will ride the PR train on this disaster. I wonder if they even have a clue what is happening?

Ridiculous! Spending your time talking about Dorf is really helping!

nomorefan: Ya know, while searching for some fun video to share with you. I'm seeing a similar hair color between Dorf's hair piece and Mr. Nicole Kidman's colored hair!

In the end nothing the couple does will be enough from the skeptics point of view. Then again they live in a fantasy world where KUNK's dirty money can magically fix everything for everyone if only they cared.

Stay tuned here for more of the truth.

Keith's interview with Rick Sanchez is now available HERE.

There's no better way to end this blog then to say if you can help those affected please do.

Skeptics & Maclen, What Did
SkewerMistress Tell You????

Last night we said Nicole Kidman was not done with Just Go With It, even though Inept Team Maclen: Party Of One was stomping his feet and saying he was right. He's not.

Pictures today from rehearsal and filming have been released. Paparazzi have been camped out in Maui taking pics of the production ever since cast and crew made it to Hawaii. We'll take this opportunity right now to say the production has been working in the following manner: rehearsing on set and then filming scenes. So if the skeptics try to claim Nicole brought the paps with her, just tell them to take a look at the numerous shots of Aniston and Sandler rehearsing before Nicole got to Hawaii! BAHAHAHAHA!

Yes, that is singer Dave Matthews folks! Just as we reported, and Sandler stated several months ago, Kidman would be involved in scenes with Aniston and Matthews. Funny how that works! It looks like a fun set, with the director and stars clearly showing they are in good spirits. We hope this has been a great time for all.

Unfortunately STS has to get back to business and Skewer Some Skeptics

abc: speaking of 'plants' ... i watched a video where keith "gives" away his guitar to someone in the audience and it looked to me like it was "staged" as he insistently pointed to a guy to 'receive' it after which that person (who looked like a bouncer) walked away quickly from the spot

Why are you looking for Keith urban videos? In any case security is there when Keith goes into the crowds, like when he gives guitars away, dummy. Your last ANALysis of a video was pure fiction. This one is no different.

tara: I read how he planned the entire performance in rehearsal with that special surprise in it (the handing the camera to the fan) now it was all fake. Also anyone who was around for the 2005 tour knows Keith often would bring a camera out on stage and film the audience.
As for the amp thing- tsk tsk tsk Mr. Diva pants. He got redressed in the bankers suit and went back out to sit with Kidman so I don't think there were several attempts to get him to play. Why not borrow an amp from someone?

Thank you tara, taralea, flyin, hit n run for that summary of E! hater speak on Urban Myths. The "planned" story was all over the internet, including here. It was no secret. Of course it was planned!

maclen: .those very manly legs...which just hit me... reminds me alot of Tim Curry in Rocky Horror picture story! Contrast and compare...

Manly legs the world envies! Urban Myths is parroting E!, E! is parroting Urban Myths. Do you have any new ideas left?

abc:this pair "work" too hard at being "nice" which makes me suspicious. (As Nicole famously said: "what's the point of doing something good if no-one sees it")

Yes famously, in a movie! What is it that we also said about skeptics not knowing movies from real life? The quote from To Die For.

You've been skewered skeptics.

It's. Just. Too. Easy.
